Hey Everyone,

During the previous beta I decided to give revenant a shot in World versus World.
It felt really underwhelming to me at first, as the class wasn’t finished yet and although the skills looked great, they were very clunky to use. I am sure I was not the only one who thought that revenant felt too weak.
I almost decided to wait it out until revenant got stronger to roam with, or at least got some mobility, but i persisted and tried a variety of builds and trait setups.
I ended up with something that actually felt pretty decent, especially when dealing with condition classes.
And i decided to put my clips together and make a little video.

The Video is nothing too serious, it’s just me trying my best to make the class in it’s current state work in World versus World.
This video also was a last opportunity to remember revenant as it was in this bèta. Feel free to give your opinion about the video or the current/past state of the revenant.
I’ll be trying to make more of these in the next bèta events.
I’m very hyped for Shiro at the moment as it was exactly what revenant needed to function properly in WvW scenarios outside of zergs.

I believe this is also the place to adress any bugs that occured to me during my playtime on revenant.
Some bugs that can be found in this video were the second hit of the axe skill not occurring, this happened to me quite frequently while running around. An example of this can be found at 05:15 during the video.
Another bug was the fact that “Inspiring reinforcement” either started pulsing stability very late or didn’t start pulsing stability at all, as can be seen at 05:36.
I’m very glad to hear that skill queueing is fixed as some instances of it malfunctioning can also be found.

I’m fully aware of the fact that the class was unfinished (only 3/4 legends and 4/5 trait linesand 1 main and 1 offhand still missing, if you don’t count the elite spec as a part of the revenant itself) . It is generally known that the class was undertuned and it should be much stronger now, but that’s why i still put this video up because it was still a lot of fun to play it. I am by no means complaining about the fact it was weak, i was just trying my best with the stuff that was available.

I was not really running any boon duration, but i was running pack runes which gave some extra swiftness duration and some boons.

Looks like a really cool class. When is the next beta weekend, would love to give it a go.
