  • General issues

1. Upkeep skills cannot be turned off midair.
2. Holding swap legend key wont swap the legend till the key is not released.
3. Mallyx Ul (spikes) tend to bug out on certain maps and change the color to blue as example.

  • Traits

1. Nefarious Momentum activates might outside of combat
2. Enduring Recovery triggers even when endurance is full
3. Equilibrium doesnt show up damage/healing in combat log. Tooltip doesnt listen radius either.
4. Invigorating Flow healing doesnt show up in log.

  • Sword MH+OH

1. Autoattack;

-Preparation thrust experiences issues connecting to targets in move and on uneven terrain. Its get worse with superspeed.

2. Precision Strike;

-Animation doesnt play properly for charr while moving.
-Hit random objects in the world…
-Promotes invisible objects over real targets.

3. Unrelenting Assault;

-Hits random objects in the world
-Interrupt itself near walls/objects, uneven terrain and targets that used stealth.
-Interrupted goes on full cd.
-Triggers confusion 6 times.
-Consumes energy at the start of animation.
-Sometimes place the player inside of a structure.
-Sometimes doesnt evade properly (very rare).
-Sometimes fail to execute/attack portion is delayed. (

4. Duelist’s Preparation+Shacking Wave;

-Can be interrupted right at the start of the cast.
-Block portion is desynced with animation
-Slow increases block duration.
-Shacking Wave miss on uneven terrain.

5. Grasping shadow – Sometimes fail to pull the target. Also fails to pull the target if rev will get cc’ed after a shadowstep (like shocking aura)

  • Hammer

1. Coalescence of Ruins;

-Doesnt hit on uneven terrain, sometimes fail to hit even on a flat ground.
-Animation is stopped on uneven terrain, even small objects such as stones.
-Experiences aiming issues where it shoot in different area to the target.
-Some ground aoes such as line from teragriff charge stops CoR form spreading futher and dealing damage due to target limit cap.

2. Phase Smash;

-Miss on uneven terrain.

3. Drop the Hammer

-When interupted by player/enemy goes on full cd.
-Hammer animation plays 2 times.
-Lack white/red circle.

4. Field of the Mists doesnt block projectiles at melee range.

  • Mace

Searing fissure;

-Doesnt hit on uneven terrain, sometimes fail to hit even on a flat ground.

  • Axe

1. Frigid Blitz;

-Drops revenant in holes on it way rather rather than go around them.
-Final hit sometimes fail to execute.

2. Temporal rift – Miss on uneven terrain.

  • Shield

1. Envoy of Exuberance;

-Provides olny 2 sec of protection instead of 4 when used on yourself.

  • Jalis

1. Soothing Stone – Condition removal comes in after heal, not before causing it to be effected by things like poison.

2. Inspiring Reinforcement;

-Sometimes doesnt provide stability to the caster in a crowd of allies.

3. Vengeful Hammers;

-Deactivates themself on uneven terrain like stairs, edges, small objects or walls.
-Invulnerable status destroy projectiles while keeping the upkeep running on.

4. Forced Engagement – Consumes energy at the start of animation.

  • Shiro

1. Phase Traversal;

-Consumes energy and goes on cd when teleport fails.
-Fails to teleport when there is no straight clear line to target/small object on it way when other teleport skills work just fine.
-Experiences z-axis issues preventing teleporting to the target.

2. Jade Winds – Stun duration is not affected by sigil of paralyzation.

3. Enchanted Daggers;

Enchanted daggers will leech life for your enemy if he reflects the daggers. If the daggers are destroyed, dodged or if people are out of the 1200 range limit, the dagger charges simply vanish without doing anything.

4. Impossible Odds sometimes doesnt deactivate on legend swap.

5. Riposting Shadows can be interrupted at the start of cast as the evade is not played there.

  • Glint

1. Chaotic release;

-Sometimes causes huge fps drop.
-Miss on uneven terrain like stairs.

2. Elemental Blast lack white circle.

  • Downed Skills

1. Forceful Displacement uses description from a old version of this skill
2. Vengeful Blast description is unclean

The cancellation part and interupt are intended. The cancel on weapon swap was requested by the community. The interrupt works like this: you are already performing the skill (you can see the hammer is about to drop) therefore it will send it on full cooldown just like overloading an attunement (any channeled ability)

Then in this case it should actually take effect and land otherwise it makes no sense and for me its a bug. That said we mentioned 10000 times to reduce the animation to 3/4sec where you summon a delayed hammer which hits 1 second later.

The rule is that a skill goes on full cooldown only if some sort of effect has triggered. When you are channeling an overload on Tempest, the effect persists throughout the entirety of the channeling.

In this case, it is different. The skill should not be going on full cooldown, because there is no effect until the end of the channel.

Just so you know this kind of list is not actually that helpful for a QA tester. It’s great that you have put in the time to list the problems but without a description of a situation in which they occur that a tester can replicate and use to reverse engineer the contributing factors it makes the bugs take much longer to work out. If you know even one specific example of the circumstances which gives rise to any of these bugs then state it and put it in a bug report ticket. QA teams are ridiculously efficient at squashing bugs if you can help them replicate them.

Most of these are easy to replicate and some of them are even know for a while. It doesnt take rocket sciente to get slow on yourself, use ua and see it doesnt evade nor deal damage so tbh idk where the problem is.

Legend Switching isn’t insta, it swaps after releasing hot-key, not after pressing it (not sure if it’s intended)

I dont have any issues with legend swap other than not being able to do that mid air. What kind of cc you speaking about? Launch? Then thats normal for all stunbreaks with casttime.

I noticed this as well:

Also I don’t think hammer 5 should go on a full cool down. Its cast time is super long and you have to cancel it a lot and having it go on full CD and taking 15 energy is a major hit. It goes against what is supposed to be intended. It should not go on a full CD that’s ridiculous.

I have no idea if that happens. I dont think ranger can escape it with lightning reflexes and we all share the same stunbreak animation here. Mind to test that? I cant now.

I noticed this as well:

That happens when you have slow on yourself. If not howered you should record that as i personally had no issues with it.

You get 2 stacks. I don’t use Shiro, but I think each stack is consumed when you hit something. If you don’t attack anything, they wear off after 5 seconds, regardless.

I tested it with friend few days ago. Thief’s Roll for Initiative vs. Dragon’s Maw – he could get out but I couldn’t with Riposting Shadows

Quesiton is if you can escape with withdraw cause its evade as well? Youre not supposed to escape by evading it which leads me to think that roll for ini has to be looked into.

Nice post but the priorities for revenant are those:
1)Nerf sword skill 3 too much dps, lets reduce it 50%
2)Nerf shiro evade revenants doesnt need 50 endurance for free
3)Nerf hammer 2, too much damange, revenants doesnt need dps
4)Nerf hammer 3, too little energy, lets make it 40!
5)Nerf hammer 4 a moving wall!? no way!!!
6)Nerf hammer 5 too little energy and a cc!? no way 5 seconds cast time and 50 energy!

999)Nerf again staff skill 5 still too much damange, lets reduce it 25% more.
1000)Seems that we nerfed all this class, lets start fixing some bugs.

Has anyone also experienced that when you use action camera mode and use impossible odds, that when you hold down mouse 1 to use sword 1 it doesn’t benefit the 50% atk speed? but if you spam mouse 1 or if you simply press 1 to auto use sword 1 it does benefit.

Can unrelenting strike not hit ambient creatures?(those rats and hawks that dies in one hit with white names). In wvw, i’ve wasted one attack just because a stupid rat is beside me. It serves no purpose so please make it not proc on them.

I have had it happen twice now, i am standing still. Nothing is going on. 50 energy. Turn on a facet. It might stay one for a second at most turns itself right back off again. It isnt triggered doesnt go cooldown. Just turns off. It wasnt one specifc facet because once i noticed it, i tried them all. The only way i could find to clear the problem was to swap legends and then swap back. Pretty simple fix. Still annoying.

Thre is a bug caused by map exploration. When you uncover a new section of the map (in central Tyria at least, I haven’t tested it for Maguuma), your facets get turned off. Luckily it’s very easy to turn them back on before the boons expire once you know what’s causing it, but it’s still a QoL fix I’d like to see nonetheless.

As for if it’s happening while you’re standing still, I’m not really sure.

It’s actually the level change that causes it, not the discovery. It’s just far more difficult to tell now since the Mastery Rank is displayed at the bottom instead of Effective Level.

Bug 1: Gaze of Darkness does not work on Engineer potion stealth.

Bug 2: Phase Smash, Phase Traversal, Riposting Shadows, and Frigid Blitz will interact with Wall spells and traps. You can not use any of those abilities to remove yourself from inside a trap or guardian barrier. Roy explained these were like Shadow Step, but that you travel through the mists rather than shadow. Shadow Step doesn’t interact with the aforementioned abilities.

Bug 3: Stability is being added post dodge rather than at the start of the dodge. This causes the same issue as above where we can not dodge out of a guardian barrier or trap.
