Guild Wars 2

So after getting my hunter lvl 80 i decided to buy the game and now i have a lvl 80 boost and am torn between leveling Rev or Ele. What do you guys suggest to level and what build.
PS. Also what gear is cheaper to craft for rev or ele?

What are your goals in the game? Kind of a general question, but are you primarily playing PvE? Do you want to do raids? Important stuff to know. Revenant is a bit less useful in raids than ele, but I prefer Revenant for general PvE play.
