How long until the next beta? I MISS MY REVENANT SO MUCH! THE ELEMENTALISTS HAVE THEIR POWER AGAIN! I WANT TO WATCH THEM SQUEEEEEAAALL. Does anyone know when the next beta is out. Maybe with the new specialization they’ll let us test it? So sad. Revenant I such sad. I can’t play the game now that I’ve tested greatness. Please relieve me of my pain

Hopefully not for a very long time. It’s far from ready. Very weak very slow and not viable at anything

Well actually they did the Tempest all on its own so the “3 at a time” rule is completely out the window.

Given we’re going straight into an elite spec I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re the focus now, with a 2nd beta weekend after the final one. That’d give just over a month for them to implement the feedback they’ve received and get the rest of the elite specs ready for testing.

The main reason I think that is because this test was four elite specs + full revenant. So effectively five professions to test, there’s five elite specs remaining. Also if you split them in the middle it sorta leaves 2 left out.

Either way I would expect the next beta weekend to be in September.

(I’m currently expecting release to be November or December unless they have to delay it into next year).

I didn’t play much for this reason.. I like the Rev a lot in the couple of hours I did play on Friday.
I knew if I were to play the whole weekend I’d just get too hooked up on the Rev so I wouldn’t be able to play any other class!

Now we get to stare at the char selection screen until next BWE..

Had so much fun on wvw with revenant that now I just cant go back.

Glad you enjoyed it. Working on a lot of feedback changes from this last weekend and will be making a post with them all sometime in the near future.

I have a question..do i risk ban by keep playing rev? I didnt logged off yet and dont plan to do xD

I wouldn’t expect the next beta for several weeks or maybe next month; it takes time to evaluate the feedback. Also, consider the specializations; it makes more sense for them to release a few more for testing in the next beta. My guess is the next beta will be after they finish releasing the specializations, which is at least 5 weeks.

Obv i don’t speak for anet but if they really wanted to FORCE you to stop they could just force-kick you. or release a no-change build update to force client restart. Actually, i was surprised to find i COULD keep playing, at the end of that first revenant event
