Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,
I hardly ever post on the forums, but my excitement for the Revenant made me do it!

Back in Guild Wars 1, Ritualist was by far my favorite profession. It was love at first sight when I first played the Factions public betas.

Now, with the BWE3 the same happened with Revenant. I love the profession.

I was wondering though, and perhaps suggesting, about the pose the rev uses when he or she carries the staff in a ‘battle pose’.

Why not update it to make it look like the battle pose of the Ritualist staff? It would fit, and add even more flavor to the profession. Same goes for the sword animations. Now it just sort of wacks it around, while the Ritualist had these special and deliberate attack animations on all weapons.

Also, will there be Ritualist-like armors for rev?

We all agree that melee staff wielders ( revs and daredevils) should have other animations instead of the recycled hammer one… This was asked ever since the first time staff was seen on the rev. Will we get new animations? Wait & see. :-)

Yea, the Ritualist was my favorite profession aswell. Would love to see an animation rework here and there. As for Rit-themed armor: I guess we may see a Ritualist outfit in the gem store sooner or later, but I don’t get my hopes up for any armor.
