Hi everyone!

I’ve noticed some bugs on the Revenant after this whole weekend. I will also add, at the end, my opinion on the class. Feel free to discuss my choices

  • Sliding: Using Project Tranquility, Ventari’s Will and Pain Absorption while running will result in the Revenant sliding for some frames.
  • Pink cube: When I was summoning Ventari, sometimes a pink cube (for unavailable file) showed up.
  • No effects: With Ventari again, on Friday, I didn’t get any effect or sound when swapping to this legend.
  • Difference between green circle and hit: When using hammer 3, the green targetting circle goes farther than the actual hit-area. The difference seems to be around 180 units.
  • Slight “rubberbanding”: Sometimes while using staff 5, I had the impression the “mist form” was going a bit farther than the actual reappearance point of the Revenant.
  • Tablet gone: When I died using Ventari’s tablet, sometimes I could WP with it still being active, yet nowhere to be seen.
  • What am I using?: Rite of the Great Dwarf elite and effect didn’t have an explanation, I still don’t know what this elite does exactly. (Note: maybe it’s because I was playing in French, yet it’s worth noting)
  • Unavailable skills: Only happened once. I wasn’t able to use Rite of the Great Dwarf because I didn’t have enough energy, yet I had 50.
  • Stuck energy: Only happened once. My energy out of combat was stuck to 49.
  • Delays: Sometimes I feel like there are delays in the skills I try to activate.
    • Also, with the hammer, it’s quite hard to chain skills 3 and 5 as if there is a slight aftercast.

These are mostly aesthetical bugs, nothing really game-breaking or glitching.

Now for the “what I’d like” part:

  • Legends’ voices: they were supposed to be quite talkative, however I didn’t have the impression the Legends were alive, it lacked interraction between my character and the legends (Note: maybe it’s because I was playing in French, yet it’s worth noting)
  • Dedicated energy: (or whatever the name in English) why can’t I use some skills when I see fit? I can’t use Embrace the Darkness, Vengeful Hammers, or Protective Solace if either I’m not in combat or I’ve used some energy (“You have less so use your upkeep!”), they simply should be available even if I’m not in combat.
  • Staff pose: Casters (supposedly less physical fighters) can wield a staff with one hand without any problem, but a strong heavy class needs to use both their hands… The way the staff is wielded is really clumsy (especially when walking with the weapon drawn!), they should really look more like this . The animations are really good, but the default pose is really awful in my humble opinion.
  • Utilities: Nothing has been said about that, but I really do hope that we will get at least one more utility per legend. There are skills I don’t want to use and that I find, personally, really useless (unlike “forced” weapon skills). Why would a Revenant get only 20 skills (4 legends with 5 skills) while the other classes have 27? Forcing a Revenant not to have any variety is really dumbing down the class: they will all be the same…
  • Speed: The Revenant needs a way to effectively run fast. Blasting with the hammer skills requires you to be quite still, the opposite of mobility. They need either a trait of a skill that allows them to run fast. Weren’t they supposed to be really mobile?

Well, I guess this is all. I have really enjoyed playing as a Revenant. It’s a really fun class, really versatile and with a fresh taste. I can’t wait to see Shiro and the elite specialization.
