If i got it right you can now basically do this:
swap to shiro legend gives 50 energy -> cast jade wind
swap to jalis legend gives 50 energy -> cast rite of the great dwarf
swap to shiro legend gives 50 energy -> cast jade wind

rinse and repeat …

dunno what to think about it, but maybe i just missed some important info ?

Not sure if you noticed, but each time a Revenant swaps legends, there is a 10sec cooldown. Plus Jalis elite is a 3second(?) cast time, very easy to block the use of it via interrupts.

The 10s CD on legend swap in combat, matching the weapon swap CD system from the time legend swap was meant to replace that?

Make a group of 4 revenants for infinite AoE stunlock with jade wind.

So much fun!

ah ok, i thought in the stream it has been said the legend swap cd has been removed or can be traited to become instantaneous.

The trait that makes it “instantaneous” means it doesn’t have a cast time or build up. Doesn’t mess with the 10 sec cooldown.

10 sec cooldown on swap plus huge energy cost for doing pretty much nothing:

• Mallyx elite is upkeep.
• Jalis elite is a 2 sec def boost with 3 sec cast time. Horrible
• Ventari needs tablet and is just a pushbak with little heal.
• Shiro is aoe venom.

Jalis’s elite is 5 seconds long.

I was exaggerating on purpose. That wasn’t the point

From my 20h+ experience from the Beta Weekend with Revenant, spamming skills with this professions is exactly the worst thing you can possibly do. Trust me. If you’re playing Engineer or Elementalist, it’s exactly the opposite and punishment for wasting your energy is brutal.

And because both Utility and Weapon skills cost Energy (good), actual Energy management will separate good Revenants from bad Revenants very quickly.
