Revenenant's displacement field and sPvP
Judging by amount of threads about it, no, you’re not the only one.
Personally, I haven’t noted it as some huge problem when I was playing. In theory, yes, you can AoE displace on short cooldown. In practice, if you want to spam it you’ll be dead by third Unyielding Anguish.
I think it’s like with Epidemic. In theory, it’s one of the most powerful abilities in game. In practice, very few people run it.
Unyielding ,for me, is amazing mainly for cancelling stomps/rezzes and because it has Cripple you can copy.
I wonder if they fixed Displacement vs. PvE immobile mobs and Stability. Any news, @Roy?

I really hope they don’t change it to be honest. If anything, just a slight energy cost increase by 5 but that’s it. If an elementalist can drop a meteor shower and/or tornado into the point and punish enemies heavily or an Engineer/Warrior rampage and annihilate everyone foolish enough not to get off point, I don’t see why Revenant shouldn’t have an ability that can allow him to decap at the cost of putting themselves at risk for spamming it.
It’s fine and doesn’t need any cost increase. Suggesting that just to please complainers is not the way to go.

The Problem with Mob Stability is, that it does not give Immunity to Displacement. It is not a Bug, it is just a movement effect that is not covered by Stability. So basically, “fix” is the wrong word because it is not broken.
As far i rebember you cant displace mobs in HoT with defiance bar.

You can not move Mobs in Vanilla with Defiance Stacks either. That is my Point. Defiance Stacks/Bar cover all Control Effects, including Displacement. Stability on the other hand lists the Control Effects it ignores, and Displacement is not on that list.
No, I’ve got no problem with it. It’s fine as it is.
Tanky point holders need to be able to be countered by something. UA is perfect for it.

Tanky pointholder’s are countered by high mobilety and rotations. But with this skill you can engage any point and immediately neutralize the point. You don’t even need damage in a teamcomp to win games with this. You could basicly stack up on 5 bunker’s, where two are revenants and just controll points with displacement.

Both of these can be countered while you’re still on the point, those aren’t nearly as potent as what Unyielding Anguish does.
Edit
I think a better solution would be to make capture points larger. Change the size so the smallest points all are the same size as sidenodes on legacy.
Then the only thing broken about it is ressing teammates I guess.

Doesn’t matter that much. Meta changes. Bunkers might be less effective. No problem with that.

Hmm, maybe, but most of the tanky pointholders I see do quite well despite mobility and rotations. If they aren’t, they are more than able to comfortably sustain enough to have a teammate come over to assist.
Also as stated, if you UA constantly, you’re gonna lose. That will drain you, and leave you with nothing else.
I would concede to larger point areas though. It needs to be done anyways, even without Revy’s.

Bunkers are already not that effective….. they just die on circle or drop out of it.
