This is a something I wonder about when I reached that stage in HoT storyline, in which we seek to rescue a destiny’s edge member. If you haven’t played through the storyline, here is a spoiler alert!

Like it, but I don’t expect new legends anytime soon. And if they were going to add one, I’d prefer an underwater one we auto-switch to. Playing two legends that don’t work underwater is a pain.

No, I also don’t expect it anytime soon. It is just something that I would look forward to.

and caithe was in her house when we were usingthe memory seeds to find her, rytlock was in his office when he was lost in the mists, and zojja and logan were at their office/lab whilst they were kidnapped.

those instances are noncanon, unless you also want to make the point that faolain is fine because she’s inTA storymode?

GS might add that tipical Revenant twist to weapons, but then we’d miss 2h melee power.
So I’d settle with LB, even more with rifle but i guess it won’t happen, too tech for rev.

well they might wanna go with the “new playstyle” idea which is what elite specs r about, and currently we have ranged power, melee power, but lack in the condi dept. Theres alot of feedback on traits etc but itll take a lot of work to make condi build stronk since we r sort of stuck with melee condi atm, or close range at least.. so having another wep set for ranged condi could be a thang that could help “fix” other issues

Eir Stagalkin’s death was quite dramatic and very well executed storywise. But I can’t help but wonder: Is she going to be available to the Revenant as a Legend? Possibly allowing the Revenant to use a Longbow? What do you guys think about this prospect? What do you hope for?

Dear god I hope not. Not only would it be a spoiler to those who havent done HoT, but there are so many better choices for new legends.

Also, all of the legends are “ancient” beings, and Eir really is not.

Now, somebody that might qualify for what you’re suggesting, longbow and all? Pyre Fierceshot.

He’d be an inspiration to charr revenants everywhere.

There is nothing legendary about Eir, or anyone else from Destiny’s Edge sans Rytlock, and that’s only because of his relic weapon. Koss is more legendary than Eir since he actually played a role in some good old fashioned deicide, (as well as killing another Revenant “legend.”) Eir was a member of a guild that fell apart from petty drama.

If we ever get a bow-based specialization with her as a legend instead of Pyre Fierceshot, I’m going to be really sad.

But also there are 2other options that are brought up during the story finaly

Actually a Scarlet legend would be interesting, although probably not popular. There is plenty of obvious audio for it, and she was ridiculously powerful. She could have solo’ed Shiro or Mallyx.

naw the next legends i would want are Turai Ossa and Gwen

Eir did more than Jora, Jora is just from an older era so it makes it seem like she did more. Eir fought 3 elder dragons, Jora fought 1 dragon champion.

I’m waiting for someone to post a link to youtube saying that john cena is the new Rev Legend…. lol

For a bow imo the best character to pick , would be Keiran Thackeray. He is a legit legend, and since we don’t have Javelins, we can use his longbow from since he was a ranger, and then as utility skills we could have shouts from his paragon side. xD

for Scepter, I’d actually immediately jump to vizier Khilbron for a sort of Legendary Lich Stance, a legendary villain (the guy who sunk orr using the Scepter of Orr) with a legendary Scepter :P

I doubt it, given that all legends seem to be centred around GW1 characters

+1 for Vizier Khilbron and his Scepter of Orr. We need a ranged condi weapon to go with Malyx/Mace, imo. Scepter would be perfect.
