We’re still getting a second underwater weapon right?

Since the spear counts as melee weapon as well as a ranged weapon with two auto attacks, we likely won’t get another underwater weapon.

Double spear the new Double Longbow? Take that, Rangers.

I haven’t gotten the time to test the spear in BW2, but I’m personally not a fan of a weapon with two auto-attacks that tries to do two different things altogether for the sake of an old restriction that no longer exists.

While the whole idea is pretty cool m, i agree with you

I was worried about it at first as well, but it’s really not that bad. Basically the ranged attack applies conditions, and when you are in melee range you won’t even use the auto-attack. This more or less created a gameplay version where you use 1 while ranging if you focus more on conditions, and you spam 2 when you are in melee range. Since the 2nd attack does relatively high damage and has no cooldown or energy cost it almost functions like your 2nd auto-attack (but in melee range).

Yeah, I’m with these guys. It’s a cool idea on paper, but it really shouldn’t have stayed when weapon swap was added back in.

We only got one uw weapon because they removing that style of play

Underwater skills is strong enough with one weapon i guess its fine.

Who care about uw, if uw content come then we will get new specs for it I guess uw will be recreated in future.
