I really really am nervous for the traits to be released.

I hope we can do shiro and glint effectively. Our only Danaher output with sword though will really only be audio attack so I hope that gets a nice buff. Shield though looks like it can help us survive but no condition cleanse still. Let’s hope we get some awesome traits like using a shield skill removes a condition or activating utilities in glint removes a condition

You have condition removal on legend swap, I agree that Revenant does needs options aside Jalis and Ventari for condition cleanse, Malyx needs to be traited to be able to manage conditions so you’re forced to run Corruption AND Malyx, Combining shield with other weapons is no problem at all as you sacrifice DPS for needed survivability, also conditions are meaningless outside PvP/WvW.

You need to give up to a lot of fury for that, and forcefully swap legend for 1 condi. Cleansing sigil on weapon can achieve the same result with less drawback (it’s even triggered by legedswap).
