Im thinking of running Soldier armor so my question is should i supplement it with somthing like Zerker or Captain’s trinkets or just go all in on Soldier?

It would depend on the content. In WvW I go all soldier’s on the front line however in PvE too tanky means it takes longer to kill things so i would have some dps trinkets tossed in there.

In PvE, it depends on your build. If you’re running Herald and picked up the Fury GM in Invocation, then you have about 20% crit you can drop from your gear to supplement somewhere else.

If PvE, run full Berserker, you only cap on crit if you have Fury and Banner of Discipline and Spotter, while also having Assassin’s Presence makes your crits hit even better.

Having all 3 gets you like 103-105% crit, haven’t tested yet.

I put on soldier boots, gloves and shoulders. More than enough to keep me alive.

Soldiers works well in HoT content as well as WvW. It was the first set I got along with Hoelbrak runes before HoT even came out. It has worked pretty good so far. If you find your damage is lacking, try to get fury and some zerker trinkets or mix some knights in there as well.

I am running marauder armor with zerk/soldier accessories depending on the gamemode.

All of my weapons are berserkers.

I have Soldier’s armour, Zerk weapons and Zerk trinkets.

I just had an unbound set of soldier’s gear in the bank that got leftover after my 500 armoursmith, so I just gave them to the Revenant. The damage isn’t even that bad. People over-exaggerate when they say using anything but zerk will hamper your DPS.
