I may get flak for saying this, but I do agree with you that the reductions were a bit much. However, the majority of people that understand the power build and it’s burst wont have too many issues. The class has been adjusted kinda how thief was a while ago in spvp. We just got pushed more towards team fights rather than +1. I think if they sort out our bugs we’d be in a really balanced position right now.

Theres only one problem with rev for me. All that made him fun is gone while keeping the worst stuff for whatever reason. Concept wise he completely changed.
We still have energy cost on weapon skills for whatever reason along with high cd’s right now when we were supposed to have lower cds than other classes+energy cost. So why skills still cost energy?
Energy was supposed to be a reverse mechanic to thief – spamable utilities as long you have energy to do so, it was all down to energy management. Now? They slapped cds on literally everything save for Mallyx but dont worry, they will get there as well.
Shield 5 – the root was there as tradeoff for the huge heal it had, now it heals for less than what it used to and it still roots for whatever reason.

The thing with rev’s in PvE is mostly a community problem. In raids, my rev sits at around 28-30k, which obviously isn’t anywhere near a staff ele… but the rev dps rotation is so brain dead easy that you can keep up your max dps in any fight, all the time, while giving everyone permanent fury/protection.
I feel like he probably out dps’s or at least stays close to the vast majority of the ele’s you see in the LFG scene that are messing up their rotations, going down, or losing dps in other creative ways.
It’s just that the meta follows the top guilds, and the top guilds do not have subpar eles, so meh…
As for t4 fractals (especially 100 challenge), I don’t use my rev cuz my 150 agony setup is rooted in Malign infusions—but I love having one in my group for fury/swiftness/situational protection spam.
I want to see ventari healers getting some major love. Even just adjusting the way it applies healing power would be good. As it is, you can stack healing power and still get sub-par healing output compared to other healer types.
