Guild Wars 2

As we all know, the revenant that awesome distinctive heavy armor. My concern is while we as the player base can often associate the revenant with said armor set what will other professions get? Are they being left out or are they being compensated via the unlockable equipment from the specializations? I know that we can transmutate our armors so that a warrior has the “revenant armor” or even a guardian. But the thing is, it just looks so distinctive on a revenant…

I have been thinking about this as well. It would be cool to have 1 profession specific set similarly to how the races have an exclusive set. Throw back to Guild wars!

they better make atleast one full set of distinctive, class specific designed armor in the x-pac. One armor piece and a weapon (that we get with the specs) aint gonna cut it this time. Im fed up with blending into thiefes and rangers. Im a darn engi and i finally wanna have some more armor that says i am

As far as I’d love class-specific sets, you can equip revenant armor on any other heavy armored class. It’s similar to Guardian shoulders/helm. I’ve seen Warriors with those.
I also believe it’s just something for the character creation preview, and how the skin is obtained will probably have nothing to do with Revenant (maybe just HoT related)

I pretty much addressed that but pretty much yeah.

Well… the starter armors have class specific elements from Personal Story.

Sorry to bump, but I noticed that every elite spec is getting 1 extra special weapon skin and 1 extra armor piece skin.
