Guild Wars 2

Staff 4 skill (Renewing Wave) doesn’t remove conditions. Tooltip says it removes 2 conditions from 5 targets. (it sometimes remove conditions if you stand still while casting the skill). Reported this bug after bwe3 and this bug is still here.

Also sword 3 (Unrelenting Assault) doesn’t do damage while rev has slow but unlike bwe3 it dodges now.

Yeah, pretty much every bug that existed in previous Betas is here.

Yea all the old bugs still exist from what I can tell.

rev staff is unbelievably awful imo

Staff seems to be the best weapon against break bars. But you might not need it (hammer 5 + jade winds is often enough…)

really? what are you using it for? im curious. I was using it for break bars originally but hammer 5 + jade wind takes care of it just as fast or better.

pvp I cant get anything done with it and ive never been bothered by anyone that used it against me

I use it in multiple situations. I’ll switch to staff after landing unrelenting, follow the burst up with a staff 5 knockdown, dodge roll to them, staff 2 normally interrupts the panic heal they are trying to do and the player is normally down. The staff 3 block is on a short CD. Staff 5 can be used to evade, escape and interrupt stomps. Staff will be even better once they fix the condi cleanse on staff 4. It’s saved me multiple times being able to chain an evade, block then switch to sword/shield for another block.

im not trying to be mean, but nothing you said made any kind of sense. Why would you switch to staff after UA? youre literally just losing damage. 5 isnt really a burst. Youre wasting a dodge roll.

the second someone sees a rev in staff its kill them mode. its 9 seconds they cant do any damage except for a 20cd rush. staff 2 damage is so tiny its not a threat.
