[Suggestion] Crystal Hibernation no root
you got sword oh to block for 2 sec
when you check other block abilities for other class none of them heals you, the duration is about 2-3 sec , few do dmg , stun
i wish also the the root will be removed but it will needs to offest by something else.
also remember it being used in pvp aswell
if you reduce the healing abilities it will nerf too much the build/class sustain
i can think maybe remove the root and make it like the guard focus skill.
so something like this: block any incoming attack for 3 sec. you aoe regenerate health 310 (cut by half) 4 pulses and if 4 attacks were blocked the shield explode and aoe heal for another 310 for each blocked attack (base)
so now you wont get full heal unless you get attacked
so in wvw/pve its easy to get hit – so you get more support abilities (with healing you will heal allies about 5k if you get attacked)
in pvp it will push your enemy to stop attacking you so you wont get more hp or use unblockable skills to kill you faster

I sincerely doubt they will remove the root for whatever reason, but I’d like to at least see the Trait in Glint’s GM tier do something other than acting like another passive emergency response trait.
Maybe if it granted Protection stacks (single or group) when successfully blocking an attack, or increase Healing Power for a few seconds for each attack blocked with either having some cap to the stacks. That would give blocking some extra benefit not only to Shield but to Sword/Staff as well.
Heck, maybe even allowing successful Blocks to restore some Legend Energy would be nice as a trait…

i like the idea copy from the ranger
his astral force regenerate by the healing he does or dmg he does. so also when revenant heal or negate dmg he restore portion of his nrg 1% (which is 20% more faster nrg)
