Tempest Rebound! and Revenant
Doubt it, seems a bit too specific, and then thieves would ask for similar for their weapon skills, and overall, just not worth it. People get shorted on synergy all the time, just another one of those cases. Still takes 5 seconds off your staff stun, or the sword 5. The elite itself isn’t really that fantastic, as it’s vastly overshadowed by Chronomancer’s Alacrity.

Longest cd on normal classes are usually healing/utility/elite skills. Revenant has cd only on healing.

To tell if that would be a good idea, the class would have to go live first to see how players are handling the energy.
I’m speculating here but Roy described the elite spec as “scary”, now the only thing that would be scary enough for me to consider changing my planned set up and using the elite is faster energy regen coupled with extra defence. My guess is thats what Glint is about

Hmm, that’s true.
Weapon skills may still end up losing their energy requirements and be strict CDs. I hope that doesn’t happen because that could throw off the balancing of having both weapon swap and utility swap.

I was thinking the same, but first of all we may not have Shiro in our build (very unlikely, but maybe with elite) and second we may have that on cd already, since it should be spammed all the time.
Rebound is supposed to apply to those long cds.
Maybe it will ignore energy based skills, and simply activate Rebound on the first weapon skill or utility with a cooldown.

This would be a concern for Thieves as well. It would suck to blow your Rebound on an initiative-based Thief weapon attack.
I would assume Rebound! would apply the bonus to weapon and healing skills. Therefore, there would be a total of five revenant skills at any moment that would benefit from the cooldown bonus: weapon skills two through five, and the healing skill.
I don’t expect that Rebound! will be changed to specifically affect thieves and Rev’s differently, but I do expect that it will not trigger on skills that have no cooldown. But Revs will have to be very careful to avoid wasting it on things like Inspiring Reinforcement and Ventari’s Will, that have very short cooldowns…
I don’t think Rebound! needs to be modified though. As ronpierce says, certain affects generally benefit some professions more than others, and this is okay. Just like thieves, Revs will also be less affected by chill, for example.
