Arenanet, do you think you could lower the volume of the grunts when healing or switching legends? It’s really loud compared to all the other sounds in the game. Thanks.

I get that the grunt is supposed to make us feel like the legends are physically doing some of the work but that doesn’t even remotely explain why glint grunts on activation… Plz stahp.

This is one of the few gripes I have about Revenant. It feels weird for a legend to grunt when you tap into their power. Is it uncomfortable for them? Are we actually possessed by the legend, such that the physical exertion of combat makes them grunt using our voice? How does that work for female characters? I always figured the sounds we heard were whispers in our characters’ thoughts. So… why grunting?

Regardless, the frequency that this happens can be a bit annoying, especially outside of combat. I’d prefer if the vocal effect were much more subdued, even a simple legend-specific equivalent of “let’s do this.”

Either that, or the legends should always offer some context-sensitive advice, hah. “Watch out behind you!”

I really like this suggestion on a voice that could be warning if you would have any foe going to attack you, especially for foe which are hidden or in stealth which in this way could be “revealed”. ;-) There are probably more useful way to use voices then to make grunting sounds….

At least make the voice/sound from grunts become less annoying or even possible to mute only voices from Legends as the volume of it is rather high compared to the surrounding voices in battle.

It isn’t giving me any useful information during battle and I would even be happy if the animation for switching Legends where a bit less in the way during fights in third person view with the new camera mode. Sometimes it is hard to see enemies and you need to position yourself for you bulls eyes targeting mechanics to work at the right target.
