This build was made after I read the change to maniacal persistance from 2% to 10%, meaning that with 35% crit, the cooldown on sigil of blood shouldnt reach any diminishing returns on it triggering.
The rest of the build is focused around maintaining a resonable damage output while providing high ammounts of self healing and solid defenses. Especially the changes tho shiro heal (with staff 5 this hits like a truck), and jalis hammers.
Now I’m not certain that dolyak runes are even remotely worth it, but I felt they fit the theme of the build.
And yeah, this is mostly aimed at WvW roaming and PvE exploration :P
Probably going to run something like that.
Dont know if hammer or staff will be better but I can always carry both.
2nd sigil could be anything really. Energy, Air, Bloodlust, Hydromancy, Leeching (if you want more Heal/life steal) or even Cleansing if you need another condi clear (this build sorely lacks it).
For more healing in this build
Trade out Incensed Response for either of the other 2 traits.
Run Vampirism Runes (have 25-30% base crit chance since less fury procs)
For more Fury
Runes: Pack, Rage, Citadel or Evasion (have no idea which would be best, probably Pack or Rage)
For more movement speed
Runes: Travelers, Centaur or Air maybe (have 25-30% base crit chance since less fury procs).
And that is pretty much how I intend to run my Revenant.
Need to test out mobility and fury uptime during the next BWE to see what runes and sigils would be best.
If you feel short and want some crits for minor in corruption, either go for invocation and pick up all fury traits at the cost of losing sustain via siphons or pick up maniacal howered losing that burn on elite will hurt a lot. That build has load of chill.
I like all of them, but isn’t Herald better then Retribution in Option 1 even if you use Jalis/Shiro? You even get double Stability (5s) from Enhanced Bulwark if you want. Plus Facet of Nature.
And I was under the impression that Mallyx is the best legend for WvW (and with Herald you basically get might from every Demon Stance skill). So a Herald with Mallyx/Jalis or Mallyx/Shiro with Staff/Hammer or Staff/Mace+Axe.
