Eh. Not really. At least not in the actual meta builds. If rev could get cleanses in different builds, then I guess. Honestly, condi manipulation via old Mallyx is just way more cooler than just cleanses.

Shiro/Glint build doesnt need any buff to condi cleanse nor doesnt deserve one. If anything you should ask for Mallyx to actually be the condi eater like he was supposed to be.

I kinda agree. Not asking for a buff, but an optional trade-off in traits (cleanse on shield skill?) would be fine. I run Glint/Shiro and feel locked into running staff, just to have a good dependable cleanse. It’s just dull have to run one specific legend or be forced in weapon choice not to be dead meat to any condi.

There are options for cleanses scattered around – I would rather focus on updating those – cleanse on roll in Salvation, Purifying Essence on Ventari, Resistance and many other anti-condi things.

If you ask about more removal on popular PvP builds then I have to disagree. Last thing I want is profession going away from it’s concept ideas.

We already have people hating/bashing on Rev for being “super uber OP”… so I’d rather keep it as it is now then, with no condi cleanse.

I dont like Shiro being the only one legend with mobility as it lock all builds into it that are not bunker.. yet here we are till they dont release another legend with mobility via elite spec. I think that the idea behind pros and weakness to all legends is good but poorly executed in current state.

Also as mentioned, theres already enough kittening about rev being op, if you add condi cleanse to that.. rip.

The best way to improve Revenant cleansing is to buff Ventari/Salvation. That won’t improve any current meta builds, but it does give you that option to spec into.

Yeah rev desperately needs stealth too. That one change would make them viable in the meta. Perhaps next elite spec will give stealth/invulnerable/mobility/condition dmg/condition removal/big ranged dmg/big cleaving dmg/greatsword. Only then will I come back to rev after all the huge nerfs that made it unplayable.

On the OP side of things I really think rev should get access to 3 legendaries/weapon sets to help with the build being locked to certain skill loadouts. I mean elementalists get 4 + conjure weapon bars so that isn’t too out of line I would think.

Three Legends could actually be workable, considering that one is bound to underperform without its associated trait line (Ventari without Salvation, Shiro without Devastation, Mallyx without Corruption…the only one who could probably still be somewhat decent despite that is Jalis).

I’d imagine that people would call it unfair seeing that Eles make up for their power/attunements with having no weapon swap, lower health pool and armor compared to Revs, however.
