Leia Ravenpaw – Dragonhunter
Daniel Ravenpaw – Daredevil
I don’t know if this has been mentioned before in this forum, but i have come across some threads about people asking for revenants to be able to use rifles. So, why not channel Tybalt as a legend? He did have an impact on the mists by sacrificing himself to allow the pact commander, The marshal and the remnants of the Liongaurd to escape claw island back to Lion’s Arch.
If it wasnt for him, The Pact commander and The marshal probably wouldnt have survived and ultimately would not have been able to defeat Zhaitan so i think his impact was probably substantial enough to be considered a legend i guess.

Tybalt isn’t anywhere near the level of the other legends. His only contribution is dying so that other more important people could go on and do important things. By that logic we should also be channeling every great heroes’ mommy because without her they would have never been born.
I would be extremely disappointed if, out of all the amazing lore characters from the Guild Wars franchise and all the epic heroes and villains who truly shaped the world through their own actions, Anet wasted an elite specialization on a character that was only relevant in a few early personal story missions and then died.
It would be senseless pandering of the highest level. Tybalt is not deserving of the amount of attention he’s given over the other mentors as is. I definitely do not want him being honored along the same level as Shiro Tagachi, Jalis Ironhammer, and Glint. Characters that shaped the course of history itself.
I love scarlet, and all of her work. i’m not that fond of tybalt per say.
Pretty much as Ehecatl says. Tybalt is an awesome character, but from the perspective of Tyria, he’s basically just an analyst who happened to be paired with someone much more powerful on his first trip out (possibly deliberately on Riel’s part – Tybalt knows Order of Whispers protocols, while the PC was already known to be a potent enough fighter to have the best chance of getting them both out if Tybalt slips) and who gave his life holding a door. While that’s heroic enough, if everybody who gave their lives in a valiant last stand was legend material, there’d be too many to count. I could probably rack up a large number just from those we know about, and there are probably plenty more that we don’t.
Even making him a Mist Champion alongside the likes of Turai Ossa is a bit of a stretch – although, to be fair, it could be said that Turai is an outlier there and the other Mist Champions are effectively offsiders of more impressive individuals too, so it’s possible he does fit there. That said, looking at it objectively, Sieran and Forgal probably both have more in-universe justification: they also gave their lives at Claw Island, but they were also doing their respective things before the PC showed up (in Forgal’s case, for the better part of a century).
There’s also the question of just what a Tybalt legend would actually bring to the table gameplay-wise. He’s pretty much an engineer, after all. None of the existing legends fit into a profession so neatly – they either had an undefined profession in life (Glint, Mallyx) or what they’re known for is something not directly related to their profession and the powers invoked through their legend reflects that (Shiro and the Jade Wind, Jalis and the Rite of the Great Dwarf, Ventari and the Tablet).
Really, the best way to honour Tybalt would be to be an engineer chef and use a lot of apples.
I agree with the above, especially with Steve. Scarlet was an engineer and would be a much better choice for the rifle. Then we could channel two villains, two heroes, and Ventari whom I consider neutral. Balance is achieved.
To be honest, I actually would prefer a Scarlet legend. Largely because there aren’t that many ladies who qualify in the lore (Kormir might count but she’s a god now and Livia, Cynn, and Jora were more side characters to our narrative), and unlike Tybalt, Scarlet definitely made a massive impact on the world by heralding in a new Elder Dragon.
Granted she’s so unpopular I doubt Anet would risk it.
I dont want any “legend” from gw2 let it be fail apple Tybalt which was a shame for charr race or salad Scarlet. Ventari is enough already. We need moar legends like Mallyx. Atm we have 4 good legend and just one baddie. Yes i consider Shiro a good legend as he throws bro lines all over the place which suggest we channel the precorrupted version of him
Id like to see Kanaxai legend with Axe mainhand
Or Vizier Khilbron (Undead Lich) with lets say Scepter
