“Torment: Base damage has been increased to match bleed’s base damage; movement damage has been reduced to compensate for this. This change only applies to PvE.”

How much stronger is it?
How much better could Condi Rev be in PvE now?

Not much. By my calculation, around 10% damage increase or so.

Previous Torment/Confusion deal 75% of Bleed damage with 150% of bleed damage while moving/casting.

Current Torment/Confusion deal 100% of Bleed damage with 150% of bleed damage while moving/casting.

That is 25% damage increase for torment and confusion only.

Since rev doesn’t spam confusion we can ignore it because the damage increase would be negligible.

Assuming your rev deal 30k dps overall by only using torment, you should gain damage buff from 30k to 37.5k damage.

BUT rev doesn’t only deal torment damage, we have direct damage and other condition.

at least quarter of rev damage come from burn and other quarter come from direct damage, that would make me estimate dps increase from 30k to 33k or 10% to overall dps.

this at least would bring condi rev on par with power rev that get 10% damage increase from part 1 patch

Unless I’m doing it wrong, I’m only getting about 25k DPS, unrealistic buffs and no food, stationary target. Mobile target, 27k DPS. With the recent food nerf, I have a hard time seeing us break 30k with condi.

Full ascended viper, berserker runes, smoldering + geomancy sigils, using the previous meta condi build pre-patch (Devastation 1, 3, 1, Invocation 2, 1, 1, Corruption 3, 2, 1).

I don’t have opinions. I only have facts I can’t adequately prove.

I said assuming, to make counting and explanation easier.

I didn’t said rev would deal 30k damage,

i actually don’t know how much damage rev could do since i never test it.

But in the explanation i’m assuming a rev would do 30k damage before patch.

condi rev even before thos patch was stronger than power pve wise. Possibly wvw wise.

It may not be out yet but im pretty sure condi rev is going to be ditching berserk runes and geomancy for either balth runes or nightmare/trapper rune combo and a malice sigil with the food changes its pretty hard for them to max out as they have no burning duration boosters in the trait lines along with torment only having a 20% duration increase. Poison on the other hand for them is easy to max out with it getting a whooping 50% from corruption traitline.

Overall having torment and confusion function like this in PvE is really nice for condi rev and condi mesmer as they should potentially drop out of the niche category and with the upcoming e specs definitely be top tier contenders

Guess x4 nightmare x2 trapper is the new meta. That’s the only meaningful difference between mine and theirs.

EDIT: Yep. Just checked. With canned WvW food I’m getting 29k DPS.
