Traits which are limited to a Legend
Maybe changing some of the less used traits in the line to be somewhat more effective without having to use Mallyx might help when it comes to synergy. For example:
>Replenishing Despair
“Using a skill that drops your energy below the threshold heals you for a small amount and converts two conditions into boons” (4 sec duration for converted boons, 10 sec ICD, probably a threshold of 35~40)
>Bolstered Anguish
Increase Condition Damage or Condition Duration for every Condition on your foe (2%, caps at 10~14%)
>Maniacal Persistence
Striking a stunned/feared/sunk/pulled/knockback/Taunted ect foe inflicts a random condition for 4 seconds (Poison/Burn/Torment/Confusion) (4~6s ICD)
I could see something like these being desireable without having Mallyx slotted in.

Great ideas from both.
I like the idea of the cross legend traits with benefit to a certain legend.
Actually they could function similar the goid weapon traits work. Give a certain benefit that is useful overall but more beneficial for a certain skill line pluas a CD reduction or in this case energy cost reduction.

I think Nefarious Momentum would be another one to add to this list. Two might for ten seconds seems a really poor return for using some rather expensive skills.
What if this was a flat damage boost for using a skill with an energy cost, but following the same idea, it is better (either more damage or longer boost) when you use an assassin stance skill?
Example: Gain 250 power and 150 ferocity for 5 seconds when you use a skill with an energy cost; gain 500 power and 150 ferocity for 10 seconds when you use an assassin stance skill.
I don’t know to what level this skill should boost your damage, but seeing as it is more of a ‘selfish’ trait than assassin’s presence, I think it should give you a larger personal damage boost.

Idea is good but nubers not really^^
But whatever: They should make these traits more interactive.
I want to use the resistance trait but i dont want to use mallyx.
And i want to havr might on skill use even when not in assasins stance.
I’d say get 2 stacks of might when using a legendskill.
Get 3 stacks of might and fury when using a shiro skill.
Because shiro has so high costs this could work very well with this stance.

ya the legend specific traits feel to restricting and the lack of build diversity really makes picking traits feel like picking a cookie cutter build

I was just using those numbers as an example, not as to what the boost should be. Also I was thinking of a direct number boost to damage stats given that might is pretty easy to get.
I just had another idea for this. What if it was gain 3 might when using a legend skill; when in assassins stance, the effectiveness of quickness is increased by X%
So, say rather than quickness being 50% faster skill use, it is now 75%?

The idea itself is nice but it could be a little bit OP.
It would be interesting if might would be more effektive in Shiro stance or you deal more dmg when under the effekt of quickness. In raids/fractals this could give Rev some raw power advantage and would give power Rev more spotlight.

In my opinion the salvation traitline is the one in greatest need of an overhaul. It is pretty much completely useless unless you are a ventari build which is still useless unless you run high healing power. One would think that salvation would be a traitline that could be selected to gain some extra sustain similar to elementalist water attunent which can be used with dedicated healer builds all the way through burst builds. However salvation offers basically nothing to non ventari users since so many traits are “increase healing to allies when _______” and all significant group healing comes from the centaur stance. Even the trait that blinds enemies when you use a heal skill is only good with ventari thanks to the short cool down on ventari’s will. The traits need to be completely redone to be worth at least considering in a non ventari build.

ya salvation definitely needs to be more flexible ^

Yeah probably, I just thought a faster quickness would be kind of neat (doesn’t have to be 75%)
It could be:
2 might on legend use
If in shiro – +x% damage while under quickness; +x% dmg if under quickness and superspeed
Probably too much for that level of a trait… but almost anything would be better than 2 might, only with shiro

Or gain might using legend skill. Bonus dmg while under the effects of swiftness more bonus dmg while under the effects of quickness. Does not stack.
Couls be sweet in conjunction with ventari and invocation. Or just invocation and heal skills.

While we’re at it, the amount of healing modifiers we have and their high percentages is staggering.
It’s like Ventari heals for naught at all before you take the… is it 4 traits? And they each give 20%-25% extra healing power, plus there’s another 15% from a minor trait in Salvation.
It’s a bit annoying. I’d rather have more healing power in the baseline so taking traits other than the simple “Here, have +20% healing output” ones feels better.
I mean, some are interesting. Better healing after swapping a legend for example wants you to use the non-Ventari legend, too. I get that. But there’s ones like the Grandmaster one which just exists to fix the otherwise meh healing power scaling on our heals, and those I’d rather see removed entirely and replaced.
Example for the last part:
Selfless Amplification → Salvation by Force
While invoking Ventari, gain significant Power, Precision, Ferocity, Condition Damage and Expertise based on your Healing Power.
Healing Power to offensive stats: 25%.
This would be more interesting. You still would do terrible damage overall, but you’d not be entirely toothless when cornered, and it’d be interesting for raid-healers to take, too.

The idea is somewhat interesting. But its still legend specific. Somewhat that effects rev in general plus has an improved effect in the specific legend is what we discuss.

Maybe it should then be something like “In each legend, gain a significant amount of stat for another legend”? As in, Ventari could for example give Power, Jalis could give Healing, etc?

Or maybe: Gain power based on stat:
Ventari: Healing power to power. (traits that improve outgoing healing should improve healing power for the percentage amount, so 10% improved outgoing healing is 10% more healing power.)
Shiro: Precision to power
Jalis: Toughness to power
Mallyx: Condi to power
Glint: Vitality to power
