My question is whether or not at launch I will be able to just ignore one of the trait lines in favor of saving my hero points in order to unlock Herald?

i.e. I use my Tomes to instantly hit 80, will I be able to ignore certain trait lines that I am not interested in using in order to unlock the Herald Elite Spec without having to farm up Hero points?

I don’t think anyone knows for sure since we don’t know for certain how elites are unlocked.

Its very possible you have to have the entire class unlocked (not just be 80) before you can unlock an elite.

The only hard requirement revealed thus far is you have to be 80. So, we’re guessing we’ll be able to bypass a few core items in order to unlock Elites right away (assuming you’re in the boat that’s powering to 80).

Yea I really hope to have enough points to just level my Jalis fully, glint, and my traits for 3 lines and I’m a happy camper.

They never actually detailed it anywhere how this works. Could be a collection? Could be just the excess hero points? They never covered it to date.

I believe the initial skill points unlock all the elite specs and traits, and additional points to unlock the elite exclusive skins like the Glint shield and shoulder piece.

We don’t know yet.

I really hope we get true freedom and can unlock glint right at start. I wanna use my ascended berserker with strenght runes from my warrior, without glint I have no swiftness

World completion is a pain.

I have a set of Traveler’s Runes just in case they make Herald a kinda pain in the kitten to get on launch.
