Guild Wars 2

I really like this skill with its ‘High Risk, High Reward’ play.
What I’m trying to find out is:

Well since the skill has no evade I assume revenant can be injured during the skill animation so I’m wondering where is actually lets say Revenants body during the skill.

Does he take the damage on the spot where the skill was activated or is it where the animation is?

I apologise due to wording that probably makes no sense. I am on me 9th Fosters now!

I know one thing about this skill: retaliation is going to hurt really bad when using this skill.

Honestly they should have an evade frame (not invuln, so it doesn’t have to mess up captures) tied to this and Hammer 3 so we can use them as defensive skills. Hammer 3 especially needs this, but really, both could use it. They have cooldowns anyways so it shouldn’t be a huge deal.
