Unyielding Anguish is a waste
Demon abilities weak, but hir tree great (but bugged).
Yeah, need ups at all skills, and more dmg. Now demon is a clear tank (unlike a dwarf).
one gives near perma resistance, another strips 2 boons and is spammable, the elite gives 10% bonus to all stats and moderate torment application, and the heal is fine considering you get 2 healing skills and it’s already a large chunk of your health alone
what else do you want?
5 stun breaks and perma stability?
20 seconds of 3 stacks of burning on a one second cooldown for 10 energy?
it’s just UA that needs to be entirely redone
maybe the others could have small additional perks, i won’t disagree with that, but they’re pretty much fine for their intended goal
Try to play rev now. Not only shiro or herald. Biggest part of abilities bugged or too weak. Dwarf or demon now more useful for spamming weapon skills, then use elite skill.
Look at the ranger forum, where too much cries about healing specialisation, what really op and has no bugs. And look at the half broken rev, where every 3 ability useless or don’t work.
And even don’t tell about great healing tree, what can’t do that any good.

You cannot build a decent Rev without Shiro/and or Glint.
However, Mallyx is still my fav for some reason
unyielding anguish needs to become a leap finisher, it even leaps when you use the skill.. and it would justify the energy cost.
the confusion skill is okay
the resistance skill needs to become a stunbreak
the heal needs more base heal
the elite needs to be changed completely. aoe 5 target corrupt that turns boons into torment with a ration of 1:2 (3 boons max, 6 torment max) and increases your stats by 10% for 8 seconds or so. 50 energy cost. why not keep the big boom on elites, mallyx is the only elite that doesn’t fit in that category.
mace 3 needs to become an evade.
mace auto attack could profit from more base direct damage.
axe 4 needs 900 range
axe 5 needs to either collapse faster or affect a bigger area.

Yet you can’t ignore that this is all limited by energy and that energy is shared with your weapon skills.
Then consider that the Heal is a much worse version of Consume Conditions, Pain Absorption has the possibility of getting you killed because Boon Strips exist, meanwhile UA and Embrace the Darkness actually do more for Power builds than for Condi builds.
Consider that Mallyx has two high-cost skills that are quite mediocre, no stun breaks, very little mobility, no blocks or evades if you use it alongside Mace/Axe(which is our only Condition weaponset), a mediocre heal, a lackluster Elite, and a very confused trait line.
Mallyx was re-designed to not need conditions to function, but now he’s incredibly underturned in multiple aspects.
I also find it ironic that the two best skills we have to stack Torment(UA and EtD) require the target to basically not move at all, which means we get less Torment damage, and gap closing costs us all the energy we’d need to stack said Torment in the first place.
Still think that embrace the Darkness should treat all torment stacks you applied as if the enemy is moving while they’re in range, even if they are standing still.Then you have more justification to use it as a toggle.
