Ok, first of all, I love the revenant. It has a lot of great skills and combinations. Making it very versatile. But when the skill Vengeful Hammers says “Unblockable”, I expect it to live up to that statement. If it can’t be blocked, then why are the hammers breaking when hitting mobs? They break when hitting terrain, structures, and yes ofc …mobs. And not just Champions or any other boss type mob. It’s even breaking against trash mobs. I’m trying to use my revenant for tanking but that seems nearly impossible if the one skill that continuously reduces damage by 20% is breaking so fast that there’s really no damage mitigation. And it says that they also reduce incoming condition damage by 20%. Well, just a little stroll through Silverwaste will make the design flaw shine. When encountering the vine like creatures, they emit a constant poison aura. I try to activate my hammers and poof …instantly broken. Leaving me standing there, taking the full poison damage and providing no benefit against mobs that I’m fighting within the event area. Because, the whole event is surrounded by a poison fog!
So come on now, Arena Net. Are you seriously going to give us skills that literally can’t even be used in regular PvE situations? If you’re going to ruin what could potentially be a great skill and reliable defense under heavy damage, then what’s the point of having it in the first place? I don’t want a skill that I can’t rely on. That’s like trying to cast a heal that suddenly won’t work because you’re taking too much damage or some other ridiculous mechanic. I say that this skill/bug needs fixed immediately. Until it is, I will consider the revenant as broken…
