Ventari’s stance was by far the most appealing for me since i love the tank/ support role ( zerker players get in line to slap me one after the other).

Now this thing give descent support but is pain to use, the regeneration buff it can give to allies is nice on paper but Inspiring banner on Warriors is much better… Not asking for the same thing but at least something very close to it since the area around the tablet is quite limited.

The option to move it around can be useful and will give you control on when and where to apply the healing and regeneration. In the heat of combat however, managing the tablet around while dealing with enemies + keeping an eyes on your teammates + the skills delay on the tablet leave way too much room for stupid mistakes or bad healing because the tablet is not moving around fast enough.

The solution? Having the possibility to ‘’carry the tablet on your back’’. A trait or even an elite allowing you to have the slap follow few meters behind you whatever you do, if you need to send it to an ally because he is about to die ( we take into account that sending a huge rock at his face might actually save him) well you still can. Overall i think the Revenant would be a much better support and a lot easier to play if we had that. Carrying it like a shield, why not?!

Last and not the least, the delay when you try to move the rock solid menu around is killing me ( litteraly died cause that few times). This command should be like a shout, instant, even better your heros shouldnt have an animation for it at all, you click and it happens.

TL;DR: The tablet is weaker then similar options like the Warrior regen banner and it feels a bit meh… The Tablet is also a pain to move around so having the option for it to follow the players around would make things much easier, hey could carry it like a shield :P.

Totally agree. Just spent an hour trying to get good healing out of it. 9/10 times i missed the mark. Moving the tablet is just to difficult in battle. If there is no way of getting it to follow us (needs to not be ground targeted but have the command to come to you instead, or it follows you but is an upkeep skill) then it will be useless for large and smallish scale combat due to other things happening.

Nice idea in theory, but very, very lacklustre in practice.

Somewhat related, on Ventair’s Legend, I’m not seeing the gauntlet glows like the other Legends get.

It has a ton of potential but its too clunky to use and there are better options, Bunker guardian and healing shouts or regen banners on warrior, this need to be on part with them, its not far but still behind .

I will also point out that the staff damage with a cleric set for instance is abysmal… Other professions with a cleric set will kill stuff much faster than the revenant.
