It’s part of the collection for Glints Shield so I assume some of us are looking for it

Any advice on where to find would be much appreciated.

yep I have it. didnt know it was rare, took me longer to get the smokescale one for reaper gs. I got it from the champ one in auric, north of the Chak wp

you have to complete a chain of events in auric basin and kill the legendary vinetooth to get it. it takes some organization to pull off but you might find it in the lfg. I find it strange the herald’s item is locked behind a meta event boss while other classes get their’s from random trash like dustmites.

I organzied yesterday event for it. About 40ppl came, took 9min to klil him (timer 10). Id say we were lucky as ….

And yes locked behind new stuff..have anyone beat chak gerath yet? That thing is impossible to do..gl to those that still trying to get mistward blindfold.

you HAVE to CC this vinetooth to win and when you do it becomes very easy. My guild (SKPD) will be organizing the tangled depths meta very soon so look for it in the lfg! We’ve been farming dragon’s stand for days now (got him in 14 minutes tonight) so I think we will have TD on farm status soon

actually this is right, it was the legendary im sorry I was thinking of my smokescale farming.

this is right. I actually completely forgot about this, I actually was farming vinetooths and way pointed over there and killed the legendary because people were doing the event. Didnt realize it was a meta event

Well those were pugs and we lacked cc. Guild group is completely different thing. Are you from eu or na? Would like to come for depths.

NA! watch for SPKD in the lfg we run dragon stand every day with a 100% success rate

I was at this fight earlier. The CC window is very short. We never managed to pull it off and still came maybe 10-15 seconds away from winning the fight.

What is the name of the meta event to get this item?

The event is on the east side of Auric Basin (Bristleback Chasm waypoint) and happens immediately after you help the exalted guys unlock the 3 pylons for that side.

When you get into an organized map it usually goes down pretty quickly. I’ve seen it happen 3 or 4 times without too many issues.

I was there at the third pylon when it was done, but I didnt see a legendary Vinetooth spawn to eat the sage. Does it happen in front of the east gate after the 3rd pylon is active?

after the 3rd pylon wait a little bit near the way point a VT will spawn and run north to the cave under the HP north of the eastern WP, and fight there.

I’m not sure on it’s spawn conditions, if it requires all 3 pylons to be active or not. What I do know though is that if the third one fails the Vinetooth will not spawn. So with that in mind it might require all 3 pylons to be active for him to spawn.

Also when it does spawn, like I said, it’s at the third pylon and spawns within 20-30 seconds after that event finishes.
