So which combo should I go with sword main hand?

Sword/sword or sword/shield

Though once a new Spec for Revy is released in the future that is more to my liking I’ll certainly have to swap out shield for the new off-hand weapon or what ever new weapon it gives out.

Have you considered the axe? To me it seems a lot more useful than the sword or shield.

Sword/Axe + Staff.

Staff for huge CC with Surge of the Mists.

Axe for using energy with Frigid Blitz in Glint(without Quickness) or CC with Temporal Rift.

Temporal Rift was fixed and all pulls take the same off the Break Bar, so it’s as good as Grasping Shadow (sword 5) for Break Bar now.
