Guild Wars 2

I’m stuck between human and Charr male. I like human more, but I don’t know a lot of god looking heavy armors for humans, and if I go with Charr, I’ll go with the cultural armor.
I know it is kind of irrelevant, by I need fashion advice >.<

My problem with humans (and norn and sylvari too) is how they swing that sword animation (autoattack.) Like their entire back breaks backward while their lower legs stay stiff…. (surely I am not the only one who noticed/has a problem?)

But I’ve never had a problem finding humans good looking armor. Not sure I follow the problem there.

I have to agree, I’m stumped on this too.

I posted a thread a while back and after a while eventually settled on Sylvari, but the sword animations on every single race but the Charr look absolutely hideous, and then there’s the problem that Charr has with most armor sets looking god-awful on them.

The animation is actually so bad I genuinely want it re-worked, it just looks stupid and doesn’t appear aesthetically pleasing at all, I wonder if there’s actually anyone out there that likes the swords auto attack animation on any of the races that aren’t a Charr…

Sylvari since they’re the only ones that get the complete HoT experience.

Norn, because 360 camera turns sword 3s for flare.

I think charr really look great in heavy armor, i’m split between charr and asura for revenant.
I’ve played norn for too long.

I was deadset on big male charr for its ferocity n beastyness when swinging that hammer n slamming the ground. But then i got worried what if the new legendary armor looks kittene on charr, as many armors tend to, it was a more safe bet to go human afterall.

I hope at release all the new armors will be added to the bank wardrobe

I’ve given up on a lot of these things and simply buy another character slot and make both. Long time ago before name change contracts and the like existed I used to just delete characters and paid for it with birthdays now being a year out on most of my original characters. With Ascended gear being account bound I just make Exotic version of gear, and switch the Ascended around from character to character as I feel it. Playing a single race all the time can get really old if you play a lot and the extra character gives you room to alleviate that.

Armor always looks good on humans, and the culturals look really good!

I’m personally picking Charr because well…. Charr. ROAR!!!

Even though they’re among the more interesting races, I’ve never been able to handle the insane amount of clipping on Charr or the tiny models of Asuran characters. And I’ve made way too many sylvari to make another one which leaves Human or Norn for me. I like Norn a lot, but already have a Norn guardian so i’m hesitant to make my rev one too, but humans seem to be the boring option here as always. I’m definitely stumped. Guess i’ll just wait until launch and let fate decide.

Man Charrs have severe issues on medium armor. On heavy most are cool. Charr is ALWAYS the right choice
