What is with the crazy high miss chance?
I have never had much problems with Jade Winds. On the contrary, I’ve managed to hit areas where I thought I would not be able to hit. Obviously if you just run to a pack of enemies, it’s likely to get evaded, as Jade Winds has a big tell if you know the animation.
In my opinion, Revenant skills that act as a lone that moves on the ground are the ones that miss the most due to uneven terrain. We need to either fix the issue, or redesign the animation (hitbox) as a whole.

Jade Winds has no issue hitting something targets under/above you, behind wall or whatever. Other skills however like chaotic release, shacking wave and so on will miss on uneven terrain. And thats the funny thing – shack wave and chaotic release are basically the same stuff as maul which has no issues whatsoever with uneven terrain.
Then we have CoR that for some reason miss even on flat terrain while tremor will hit just fine and can go down from a ledge etc unlike CoR.
We also have phase traversal that fails to teleport 90% of the time for no reason, many times i have seen someone blind to a ledge etc and im not able to follow him at all cus pt decided to put “out of range” or other bs message and call it a day.
Its all needs to be fixed

Are you sure it’s missing or being invulnerability through because this is basically the opening ability used by the mesmer meta build in the opening clash? This+ This + This.
Note, description says evasion but it’s 100% invulnerability shared by the group and it can last 3s-4s depending on opening salvo for the mesmer.

Jade Winds sheathe cancelling is one of the best ways to waste an entire team’s dodges for no energy cost. Seems ok to me.

If they have stability, they cannot be stunned or launched.
Jade wind is a stun. Consume chaos is a launch.
It’s easy for most groups to come in battle with at least one stack of stability.
You might also get blinded, which would negate the effect of those skills.
