I was initially going to be rolling a Norn revenant as it’s the one race i haven’t got, but then the males just make grunts like they’re constipated, have really deformed necks and the females are just unappealing to me.

Next i looked at Sylvari, seemed pretty cool, messed around with a makeover kit and had a pretty beastly appearance going.

Then the BWE came and i tried out a Charr, i fell in love with the animations, now I’m seriously thinking about making my Revenant a charr, how about you?

I honestly dont unterstand people’s problem with charr. Yes they have some armor clipping but honestly that’s to be expected for a beast race in an mmo. But other than that I find they have the best animations in the game. Some menacing, some goofy, it’s the perfect mix!
Plus that revenant armor looks kitten sexy on charr. Can we please have it in our wardrobe already?

Asura. Normally I like the funky short races, but I’ve had trouble getting into playing one on the two characters I have tried so far. Hoping third time is the charm.

Not sure If Charr or Human. Normally I make asuras but I think this calls for some awesome armor skins.

I’ve played only norns on all my classes so i’ll probably roll a norn revenant.
I’m also considering charr or human just for a change, I wish there was a race change service in GW2 :\

Charr. When the game first launched I was always human characters, but a year in I saw the light and now all my characters are Charr.

Male human.
Because I have all the rest except for female Charr, but they share the same armor skin as male Charr so I’ll have every race/gender/armor possibilities covered.

Sylvari for a few reasons:
- Love the variety of color and glows
- Want to experience the Sylvari specific story aspects that have been mentioned
- I have every race (multiples in some cases) and just enjoy the Sylvari variety as mentioned
- Funny that Rytlock seems to distrust the Sylvari as a whole based on the trailers, but then apparently decided to teach my Sylvari his special Revenant secrets

Yea I’m definitely going to roll a Sylvari at some point, but since I’m planning to main Revenant I don’t want to choose my race based on one segment of the story having a bonus and I don’t like who thin the Sylvari look (especially with some of the armours not scaling properly to their body).

Also I think for a player Sylvari, Rytlock has that trust/friendship built up already from the personal story and I guess he’s more inclined to believe you when you say you’re not corrupted.

Charr.

Probably female this time. Since I don’t play any other heavy armor prof now, I hope Revenant will be the first one to grab my attention. I have a close look on Warrior’s Berserker spec, too.

Ill make a sylvari and a grummpy old charr grandma
