Guild Wars 2

Actually I would break this into 2 questions:

1) What do you think will be the elite path weapon?
2) Which weapon would you like to be the elite weapon?

In my case:

1) Torch. Goes with the dragon theme. will give some flexibility to other builds.
2) Greatsword. Condition damage /burn/ medium range (600-900) GS. Would love that.

It’s going to be a shield. The Glint shield already exists in the files. Likely some sort of support (boon) specialization it would seem.

No, a few edited dagger skills existed. They toyed with the idea, but the elementalist’s Warhorn (ascended) was found in the same update a month ago as the Glint shield. Same way I figured out Ele was getting Warhorn and Thief is getting staff. These are recent files added, and required actual art team time to produce. Toying with skills is much easier than wasting art resources.

Ah ic. Well… not really happy – love GS visuals – but what can we do

Roy says it’s pretty sweet, still. I have faith in him, he’s a great guy and has a good sense of direction and listens to feedback.

Plus I wouldn’t mind more reasons to use shields. I love shields and most in this game aren’t very good (Guardian, and arguably Engineer). I just hope the shield has a good use!

ronpierce.2760 was talking about the weapon skin, not the skills.

Also Glint compiled the Flameseeker Prophecy and there’s a legendary weapon of the same name
