welp its confusing for me. Im a Mes/Ele main for PVE and Nec for wvw and pvp. A few months ago I decided to drop Mes and Ele and roll Warrior because no one in my guild plays one. Over the months I actually fell in love with War, and when they showed Berserker I lost my mind and did cartwheels. Fast forward to now and I hate Berserker and I weep whenever im on my War. If Berserker doesnt get fixed…

you can trait to gain 2 stacks of stab per dodge, pretty sure that’s even easier access than guards.

Nothing..if 3rd heavy didnt come i would simply quit the game and never look back. Now i have a reason to stay for a while here, hoping to get precious red and black themed legends soon.

That’s about it. If I’m really feeling nostalgic…. after a year… I can always hop on my guard.

All the nasty aoes I can pile up on a capture point from a nice, safe, secluded area on my staff ele.

Customisable utilities.

I’ll be switching from guardian, I don’t know if i’ll miss much other than Wall of reflect and aegis on command, but I will definitely enjoy playing something with more dps and still in heavy armor for the defense.

I guess the main thing I’ll miss is twilight, but I can use that for my reaper when i switch to that too

From my engie? Well…umm…my gun and Magitech armor. Not really a fan of grenade spam. Or being slow as hell in the world.

From my ele? Nothing. And not just because I hate Tempest. I don’t like playing mage classes for raids. I’m not good enough for it. Hammer feels as good as fire staff…and swapping to a Sword/Axe combo is great.

As a former thief main, the ability to be a magnificent b*****d.

I’ll miss the more nuanced portions of my class, the way that sometimes the thief comes together to do something beautiful and hilarious in its simplicity, in a way that other classes just can’t even with the way thief has been gutted as of late.

I’ll miss that, the feeling that WHEN everything DOES all come together, I’m doing something marvellous.

But I won’t miss it enough to make me want to push myself through more years of what thief has become.

I will miss the ranged play I have with my ranger because there is no condi ranged… but oh well.

Chances are my ranger will become a healer anyhow. Not that that makes sense for Daenerys, but it will have to do since condi ranger is kinda meh in comparison.

as a guardian ? nothing realy revenant feels like an upgrade in everything lol

As a Ranger that roams WvW almost exclusively, I’ll miss the flexible mobility provided by Sword/Greatsword and naming my pets after rappers from the 90s.

ranged condition weapon, racial skills (especially my mistfire wolf) and the lack of greatsword. But i’ll get over it

Switching from thief. I’ll miss having to watch reveal constantly in case I waste a skill while it’s on and being dead after any small amount of lag. Oh wait, I won’t miss those; so probably not going to miss anything.

I still have to get a revenant appearance that appeals fully to me before I could comfortably call it one of my top picks.

You can’t do this any more I don’t think, but what I miss most from my Necromancer main is

Nothing, because I will still have my other characters… I’m not a one main type anymore I think (I used to be, but then I realized I can’t do all I want then).

But what I would miss while playing Revenant, that’s probably accessible invisibility or stealth, or clones.

Is not even close; you will not save evades (which must be used mostly against burst and dangerous attacks) just for having stability on demand, which means that oftenly when you will need that stab will not be there.

As guardian having good access to stab/stunbreakers and condition clensing will be the things I’ll miss the more.

Easy access to stability, really. and no, trading off a dodge for stab is decent but thats one less dodge in a situation I would probably need it most.

Edit: Oh god I cant believe I forgot how horrible imob is on classes with very low condi clear. Warriors ability to shrug off CC has spoiled me.

Considering I manage 3 or 4 char. at any given time, the Rev will be replacing my guardian. Its pretty much guardian but better without a freaking crappy elite spec…

I’m switching too, whilst I love reaper, especially the whole minionmaster playstyle with RISE!, I just enjoy Revenant more thematically.

that said, I’m going to miss deathshroud and my little hordelet, especially when reaper is released.

on the other hand, I’m NOT going to miss the AWFUL mobility, low DPS (even when running the well build), and general feeling than people resent me being a necro whenever I join a group

Yeah, I’ve mained necro since headstart launch. I’ll not be shelving him completely as I do really like the Reaper gameplay, in the end I’m just very interested in the playstyle of Revenant. I’m also a huge lore buff and old time GW1 player and absolutely love the theme.
