For real? Guess its ok for this skill to remain useless in 1vX, i wonder if you ever fixed it to not target houses and other weird stuff?
- Duelist’s Preparation—Shackling Wave: The immobilize duration has been increased from 2 seconds to 2.5 seconds. This skill is now available naturally during the course of Duelist’s Preparation. Blocking an attack will extend the availability of the skill beyond the blocking duration.
Okay.. immo duration is what i wanted. Question is where is damage buff? Still doesnt worth casting
* Grasping Shadow: This skill now grants 6 seconds of fury to the revenant and 3 seconds of chill to an enemy when the attack hits.

WP. Another Shiro nerf yet enemy can still deflect/reflect them. Keep turning this skill even more in a sad joke

So initial healing on ED was nerfed under 1,6k value as well. Sword damage are not fixed, precision strike aiming towards random kitten not fixed. Good patch, you can be proud of yourself.. oh wait. No.

Was expecting the worse. ANET overnerfing them and leaving them like the poor warriors, just to cater to the cancerous players complaining in the PvP subforum.

My problem is that they have not adressed the issues properly. All grasp shadow needed is to be ranged pull. Counterblow also needed drastical dmg boost.
Shiro heal being already terrible was nerfed without adressing deflect/reflect issue. Initial heal was also nerfed by 5%. Might as well remove initial completely. Riposting shadows nerf is actually huge however.
Stab nerf in retribution was not reverted. Glint stab trait untouched?
Sword 2 issue was not addressed. Sword remains as joke in any 1vX matchup, on top of that damage bug was not fixed.
The ventari buffs are a joke honestly. Not sure why they even bothered.

I’ll say that it does indeed feel better. After testing Ventari still needs some buffs to sustain and healing.
Also they really should unnerf ventari’s will (cooldown to 3 sec or less) because the new cooldown is rather annoying.
The total amount of healing didn’t really change.

With the nice addition to the new DPS Golem I finally realized how kittening terrible DPS Revenant now has. Holy kitten my Guardian Hammer camping is actually worth more in a team.

Yep that is a known fact, lol.
Tested my own DPS in a ascended clerics setup with full buffs and I managed to get a impressive 7k DPS…
The interesting part is that after testing it for a bit more all variations (invocation and devastation) give on average the same DPS and the rotation is only AA anything else decreases DPS.

I can certainly say that I’m not really satisfied with changes, as I feel like, again, barely anything got fixed and there’s no real initiative for alternative playstyles.
Ventari feels better, but still no way as powerful as Tempest or Druid, working 3x as hard to achieve same or worse effects. With shorter delays, instant tablet movements and especially instant elite that is rather dank knockback it could see some play and I will be testing some builds tomorrow on stream, but I think both Power and Condi Rev are much better.

You must be kiddin.
Before the patch Guardian was already subpar for PvE content: low preccission, bad access of access to might (staff breaks your dps chain) and fury and the most offensive skills (meditations) lacked of team support. They were also useless in high end PvP, and they lost in roaming against 5-6 of the other classes.
Now, after the patch, Guardians do even less damage, had less cc, and their buffs in support are mostly irrelevant except as frontliners in WvW, due they have no use in any other part of the game.
Would you like the Revenant/Herald to be absent from any serious competitive match in PvP for 9 months? Because is exactly the place Guardians/DH are from HoT release and in which will be for (at least) the next 3 months…

Talking merely about DPS, didn’t mention anything else. And either way, boonbots… I mean Revenants have already been getting replaced on Raids with other classes because the such amazing OP boons are not worth the mediocre damage the Rev brings to the fight.
And WvW Hammer 2!!! Fukn stronk bruh, so mighty.
