Which Legend do you start a fight in? (PvP)
Normally I’ll start with Glint. I feel too squishy in Shiro. If you’re trying to catch your opponent from afar it’s best to start with Shiro, though, so you don’t get kited
I make PvP & WvW videos
Shiro melts in teamfights but it shines against Scrappers and Daredevils in particular. I only use Shiro in 1v1, 2v1 or 2v2. In bigger teamfights or when outnumbered, you need the defense and utility from Glint.
Sonya for females. (necro,rev,ranger,mes,engi)
All classes lvl 80.
In 1v1 I usually start in shiro with staff. I bait out the opening bursts and port to after they blow a few skills. Thieves I start in glint since the reveal makes me tingle with joy when they drop a SR and end up revealed in it.
start with glint to stack boons, then if they try to run away or i need to escape use shrio
It changes. In small fights, starting with Shiro for the jump and offensive ED is good. But in teamfights, starting in Glint for the AoE vulnerability and Elemental Blast in groups is also good. I usually go for prebuff on Glint outside combat and when I see that I’ll get a fight soon (like walking to mid in sPvP), I already swap for Shiro and stay on it for the cd on Glint to run down while I’m still able to jump on someone if a good opportunity shows up.
I camp Glint as much as I can because of the boons and situational skills (cc reveals etc).. The moment I’m facing heavy condi pressure, or need mobility that’s when I swap to Mallyx. Also, I tend to try and use up my Mallyx heal first and save infused light for either emergencies or a chance to go full ham.

One of the few Glint/Mallyx players….
I tried that build but i prefer either power Glint/Shiro ofrcondi Mallyx/Shiro
“Buff my main class, nerf everything else. "
Start in glint, stack all buffs and also F2 before fight starts. Activate F2 and swap to shiro when you are ready to jump in the fight.

Having fun in Amber there?
-Sorrow’s Furnace-
Don’t play sPvP, puddin’. I play WvW so it’s a much different ball game. Only thing I struggle with are high condi burst builds.

this is such terrible advice, please don’t listen.
you should start almost every fight in glint/sword for might stack, land either precision or unrelenting, then swap to shiro/staff to proc equilibrium and surge of the mists.
thats the burst combo every above emerald rev should know by now.

When was this ever implied as advice? It’s simply me answering the question of how I start most of my fights, and it’s effective for me. Not everyone does the same predictable rotation they found on meta builds. Some people like to experiment with other tactics that they find effective and this is mine.
Sorry, I wasn’t cut from the same cookie cutter.
