Why is Herald more expensive to unlock?

I think this was done to balance the numbers, I finished my elite, and it still cost 400 points in the end. I thought it was weird that the line had to use 65 to start too, but it balanced out in the end. The thing was, doesnt the rev elite have the same number of skills and traits to unlock like the other trees? This may be something related to how there are less skills unlocked for the rev though. I didn’t look when I finished the core lines to see if there was 5 points left over.
Ok, that makes sense. The higher initial starting cost is a little annoying but if the numbers balance out at the end it really doesn’t matter. Thanks!

There are 5 Facets between Healing, Utility and Elite in Legendary Dragon Stance, while the other Elite Specializations got 6 skills for each type, so they had to take the points needed for the missing Facet and spread it around.
Guardian main since launch
Revenants don’t get near as many skills as every one else, but they pay the same for an entire “line”. So individual skills are more expensive.
It’s actually very harsh on Revenants since you get stuck with empty slots. At least other professions can slot something else there in the mean time.
What do you mean? IT costs 400 hero points to unlock elite specs for all classes. I WISH IT WAS 60 KLOL
EDIT:::Ahhhh gotcha, LOL u mean the first minor trait that lets you use shields…. yeah u wont do much with that considering everyuthing else will be blank, it takes 400 hero points to fully unlock HERALD
