Will Revenant have the anti-thief spec?
I killed lots of Thieves with Hammer + Mallyx (unyielding anguish) even before any damage buffs. If you shuffle your abilities just right you can make life a real hell on them.

Medi Guard has always been a pretty hard counter to thief…
Nothing really counters thief as hard as a thief counters mesmer. I think revenant (shiro) has the possibility to be the anti-thief spec. Sword/sword or sword/axe has some pretty good potential along with the shiro utilities.
Have you actually been playing mesmer lately??
Since the update mesmers are crushing a lot of thieves due to the insane mesmer buffs and thief nerfs

GS guardian does Ji+simbol+WW thief down… oh wait it was 2 thiefs one was stealthed.
Ravenant with defensive skills will not work that well, only thing im expected to be playable (optimized for output damage) will be with shiro avatar or a condi avatar.
Gw2 is a game that is easy to kill targets, just need to play certain builds…
