i am taking my rev strait to pvp because i don’t spoil the new map for myself

Going to test everything I can, including the new map, in order to provide useful feedback. It’s a beta test, not a demo.

I’ll probably do a bit of everything but mostly looking forward to Stronghold and WvW Roaming with Shiro

If you are worried about spoilers, just remember that we are getting to try only 25% of Verdant Brink, only Verdant Brink.

I’m active enough in the community that I’m probably more likely to avoid spoilers if I play it early. That, and if I’m not getting rewards to my account for playing, I might as well get all the novelty I can rather than playing old content with new options when I could be playing new content. There’ll be time enough to take a revenant through the original game when HoT launches.

i gonna take a peek cause it seems we gonna see the glider at full power this time and thats one thing i wanna try out…other then that.. nah i pass. I can do the events once the x-pac comes. I wont be keeping any rewards anyways so why bother

Well if they announce a release date this week in Germany I’ll be prepurchasing for sure. I’m going to stick to SW and world bosses to mostly test out the dps for Shiro and dragonhunter. Might try reaper as well. Rather cheb with fights I currently know to measure the class then fighting new monsters in events I don’t know. Plus I’d rather have the new map be a complete surprise same with story

has for me when xpac is out i will start off at level 80 using all the Tome of Knowledge i have.and just do the main story running down all the way points to do living story events been playing way to long to be doing the same old quests over again.

Yeah, I will probably poke my head in, but that’s about it. I prefer to save it for later

Nope. Gonna test out Rev and Reaper in WvW, and that will take all my time as I didn’t spend a ton of time with Rev last time.

So the beta is just under 6 hours away and I thought it would be important if we remembered what a beta is about.

This weekend will likely be a little chaotic with people testing out all they can.

• Numbers are not final. If some skills seem a little too overpowered or underpowered, they are likely to change before HoT drops.
• Bugs are likely to occur. This isn’t something to get annoyed about as this is partially the reason for a beta. You can report bugs in game by typing /bug or from the options menu
• Make the most of it! We don’t currently know when the next beta is so make sure you test whatever you’d like to!
• Finally, have fun! The beta is a chance for you to get an early look at some of the potential HoT has to offer so don’t forget to share your fun experiences with the rest of the community!
• This is a BETA, your loot and progression wont be saved.
• Content is limited as this is meant to test not to showcase content, thus not representing the final content for release in any way.
• Feedback in these betas are vital. During the playtest of the Revenant, ANET listened to all of our feedback and edited the revenant massively. There’s no reason why this won’t happen today, so make sure your feedback is constructive. " This sucks, lmao" is not useful feedback! *In case you haven’t participated in the HoT preview events before, whether stress test, portal drop beta, or whatever, the amount of content we are being shown at this point is disappointingly small. You will burn through the Verdant Brink stuff relatively quickly.
