I’m not sure which weapon I should be going for. I thought sword would be best but with recent nerfs, i’m not so sure anymore. I also raid and do group content a lot, should i be looking at a staff as well?
What about my 2nd ascended weapon, sword/axe is what i use, but I’m supposed to use staff in raids, and i also use my hammer a lot.
Someone give me some advice please!

Uh.. Best weapon for rev is a different story. The legends are just the utility skills. I personally like shiro for that, but Glint is probably the best for raids

Get whatever looks the coolest to you or matches the overall theme you’re going for. I’ll eventually get the hammer because I like the effect.

I personally go for the Flameseeker Prophecies on my Herald.
Simply because it’s a profession based on channeling the echoes of historical beings.
It just seemed the most fitting to have the old prophecies that (I dare say) have attained a legendary status as addition to a Herald.

Something that fits rev black-red theme.. Twilight. Oh wait……

I am waiting for new sword and hammer to show up (most likely i wot bother with hammer tho as they deleted it from pvp..). Sword is something you will always use unless we get elite spec with gs but it wont happen anytime soon as most likely next elite will be condi oriented.

Bolt! You can never go wrong with Bolt.

There is no “best” legendary, they’re purely cosmetic so it’s entirely up to you.

I personally went with what weapon set I liked visually/used most often – that ended up being bolt and Astralaria.

currently i use one Ascended sword and the rest are exotic weapons. I’m on my way to get a 2nd weapon, but which should i choose? axe, staff or hammer?

I guess Sword is the most universal weapon, being used in almost every build. So if you, like myself, want legendary just for the stat swap, fugly Bolt could be the idea.

Personally, though, I would go for the Hammer. It’s the only ranged weapon Revs have right now, and I find myself using it a lot.

Its hammer or sword. I personally went for Bolt because I wanted it for quite some time and it looks pretty amazing on the rev. I would not worry for the nerfs as they rather change the way the damage is distributed (worse autos, better precision strike) than actually making it a bad weapon choice. And I would not recommend going for a shield unless you dont mind it will screw your backpack item. I just cant stand the fact that my wings magically disappear when the shield sheathed….ughhh and I DO plan on getting the PvP wings.

I just got Juggernaut for my Rev and you should be aware that the hammer animations on skill 1 and 5 are still the generic hammers and don’t use the Juggernaut like they should. No noticeable effect on skill 2 either.

Not a deal breaker, and probably something they’ll fix later, but just a heads up.

I’m an idiot for forgetting to mention that about Glint the SEER… :P

also for me it’s mostly a Nostalgia thing to use the shield, also I think it’s one of the best, if not the best looking legendary out there right now.

For hammer I’m waiting for new legendaries.
I think The Juggernaut is simply too clunky (yes even for a hammer).
I currently use Entropy on my Revenant.

For swords I like the Fiery Dragon Sword. (Have you ever tried gliding with 2 of these beauties sheated?)

Mace/Axe both Royal Ascalonian simply because I haven’t decided on anything yet.

Staff: Final Rest. Yes, it is the first thing I tried when I saw melee-staff. Yes, I wanted a scythe. Yes, I got a scythe!
