to start with this we would have to go back to the 2 previous closed beta.
1. they should he let us set gear stats in the pve beta
2. it shouldn’t have been Pve only since pve’rs Zerg by default and lack the skill/understanding of mechanics some wvw/pvp players have.

now to this beta:
both power and condition dmg is way too low.
no ability to spike (no stuns or imobs)
missing 2 traitlines (power and crit line)
basicly making the class lackluster too start with as you cant play glassy or spike condi(with condi activating on crit)
now things they have done well this beta they have actually given the chance to let the pvp and wvw community’s play with this, however in wvw they are insta dead vs a non revenant, you cant kill a other revenant or any other class due to poor implementation.

The Revenant is only missing 1 core line, which is speculated to be related to Shiro and focused on direct damage. A crit line is not missing. Corruption is the crit line (in the same way as Firearms is the crit line of Engineers). Invocation can also be seen as a crit line (since it has a Fury trait at adept level, at master level and at grandmaster level).

I worry that some lottery item (like a pre-cur) will drop while testing the rev so I really can’t be bothered playing it. It’s kinda cruel mixing the test up with the live game and not letting you keep the loots/karma/exp gained while playing. It’s unrewarding. Maybe it’s just me.

Well said…and agreed.

It also limits the testing enviroment….I have no access to things that will optimize my rev builds. I hope future tests are changed.

So what if it drops? Statistical probability of it dropping will not change for you even if it drops in beta.
No beta I’ve ever heard of actually let you keep the stuff that drops.

Well you could select your stats.. you just had to open the beta tester boxes you got and right click on the weapons/gear ..

Well said…and agreed.

Do us gamers a favor and you two never go to any betas in the future…for any game. Too many people like you think beta’s are early access and don’t use them for what they’re for. TESTING and reporting bugs.

You don’t wanna play a beta because you’re scared some loot will drop that you wont be able to keep? My heart weeps for you.

I am positive there are enough people rocking Rev that I don’t have to do something for nothing.
