Hey how did you all like the Herald in PvE?

I felt really tanky. Was fun. Leeroying mobs lol.

I enjoyed it a lot overall. With all valkyrie armor everything else zerker had a nice hit point pool and damage from fury. Didn’t have any energy issues but two times maybe. Hammer is a pretty fun ranged weapon overall to. Will kinda miss my guardian though. But herald will last me til the next elites are ready

I liked it a lot. It’s more active than it looks like on paper, but not terribly cumbersome. Hitting a power twice when you want the active effect (or 3 times if it is ground-targeted) takes some getting used to. The best part about it is the flexibility.

loved it.

while the shield is okay (skill 4 is too slow, skill five is a panic button defense), the utilites are great….both in the passive upkeeps and their actives (tho the active on elite is odd to use)

running around solo or in groups, it just feels really strong and easy to use. 50% boon duration increase is amazing, perma swiftness is super convienient, and perma fury gives you some other gearing options than full zerker.

my only complaint/problem is that you lose your upkeeps when you swap legends….which basically punishes you for swapping. i suppose keeping them might be OP, but i kind of think you’d run out of energy before it would be OP.

I really enjoyed it. I wanted to try running a more tanky/support type build, and so ran Glint/Ventari, with cleric’s gear and monk runes, with staff/hammer, but stayed mostly in glint and ran facets. I think I would have run shield, but wanted a ranged weapon to pair with it as I enjoyed running staff as a melee weapon. My regen was ticking around 300-500 per on myself and allies, and even though I was running zero precision on my gear, I maintained around 40% crit with the perma fury and food, so my damage was still solid.

It was really fun! The tablet and Ventari felt clunky to use at times, but the heals and projectile block were very strong and fun to use. I think revenant is in a good place, and I’m excited to be able to play a role that is so supportive. I’m hopeful that the expansion content really does move us away from the zerker meta so these roles are more needed.

Left a much better taste in my mouth than the last beta. I also went all valk with some zerk and barely had any issues. Also did some dungeons with guildies this morning who were fans of the facets since it meant our guard didn’t have to think about it much

I seriously enjoyed it! Made all the other legendaries run even better along with my builds! I miss my Revenant already!

Glint seems rather light on Energy usage – everything is a minor upkeep cost so only your weapons actually cost any energy. Running Facet of Nature/Darkness/Strength I was still able to spam weapon skills pretty easily. I’d mix in a double tap of Elemental/Chaos for the virtually zero cost skill usage as necessary.

This is different than the other Legend combos where I felt like I had to near constantly swap Legends so as to keep getting the 50% Energy refresh.

I fell in love with the facets, since i only used the heal and fury facet 80% of the time. this is what rev was missing.
