I am really debating between “Droid” which I simply love as its the one word character name I got by logging in right away on release. And also the name “once a legend” as this was not only my gw1 character name but it fits so perfectly with this class now.

What names are you looking to use?

Sikari Mist

I’m always Sikari, but usually with a title… Time to give it a surname but I’m not sure I’m ready yet to settle.

I’ve been considering a number of surnames starting with Mist, Mistwalker, etc.

Either:

Sacerdos Memorias – thematic, may be something similar

Or

Antagonistka/Antagonista – female/male polish translation of “Antagonist”

Right now my beta Rev’s name is Tengusplease.

For the first rev beta I made a human guy with deep blonde short hair and chiseled features. He looked so darn Germanic that I took Hernst Wieder as his name (the surname is German for “again,” which felt appropriate, hurray for my scattered remnants of German from five years of studying the language in the ’80’s). I like him enough that if I go with male human I’ll keep that name and appearance, and I do have it place-holdered right now.

But I’m deeply tempted by doing a female sylvari revenant. I have a lot of RP seeds in my mind for her already. I could do both, I suppose! I don’t have a name in mind for her, though, and I don’t think I saved the sliders for the concept I did of her. I’m not worried about the name. I have yet to have any difficulty securing a lore appropriate name for any of my alts.

Hmm, speaking of “Wieder” I could see people doing punny variations, things like Aleph Wiedersehn. (Deliberately misspelled to make it a name rather than a phrase).

The beta Rev I made is named “Betaberg” since he’ll be deleted by the time HoT comes out, but the Rev that I’ll officially make will be a female Asura named “Digitologist Abyx.” I was gonna name her just “Abyx” but the name was unfortunately taken.

Just be Abyx Mist, we’ll all be a family of Rev starters and use the most obvious name possible. :P

JK. But I really am considering Sikari Mist now… I don’t care if it’s the obvious route, it has a nice feel to it.

I would personally like to call my Revenant Wololo, but it’s taken ;/

Ashgrove if running sylvari

mine is: “Arch Revenant”

I really want to create a Nightmare Sylvari Revenant because of the Pink/Black Theme of the Nightmare Weapons and the Red/Black Theme of the Revenant. But the Name i reserved fits more for a female Asura Revenant

I took Zyzyx’ Name and added an “a” to make it sound female. Since Zyzyx looks like an Asura without Arms, it fits perfectly.

Legendary Rev Stance

I went for Gizal Mistborn. Mistborn because I was reborn from the mists – also referencing a bit to skyrim with dragonborn.

Gizal is one of the names in Babylonian mythology for underworld which references to the underworld in Guild Wars universe as part of the mists.

It’s not final though, may change something. Somehow the two names don’t fit together very well. Mistborn also is very clichée which I don’t like but it’s okay for a Beta character’

My revenant name is going to be “Never Tan” which is an anagram of revenant.
The character would be a white skinned Asura.

“Ventaren” is also an anagram for Revenant, so that’s an option that should still be up for grabs.

I went ahead and reserved the name Locke Daveram after a lot of internet digging for inspiration. Too bad we can’t use apostrophes in naming, but it still looks and sounds quite good to me.

Naming mine after a well known character in the Wheel of Time series. The character is which people think the character Rand Al’thor is, you can most likely guess what the first name will be. Second name will be inspired by another character known as Matrim Cuathon.

(Aka it will be this: Therin Cuathon)
