roy, burst of strength issue
Game Designer
The skill functions like a melee attack, creating an arc attack coming out from your character. I have no issues personally hitting multiple targets in front of my character. If you could provide more information it would be useful but I have a feeling you just need to get used to the arc of the cone.
I work on systems, combat, skills, and balance.
okay i’m gonna rephrase it a bit. i tested it a bit now on the golems (the 3 ones) and sometimes it looks as if the animation would actually hit the golem but it doesn’t. i will try to provide some pictures but it’s a bit hard atm because people feel like smashing golems all day :P
currently the tooltip says 360 radius, that’s the actual range if i’m right. would it be possible to also provide the degree of the cone? or is that a set amount for all cones in gw2? like 90 degrees.

alright there we go:
maybe.. it’s the golem hit boxes
btw, something else i noticed (different topic) is that there seems to be a limit on how many upkeeps you can have active based on their cost. facet of nature + impossible odds would not work for me, same as all of the utility glinth upkeeps + the elite upkeep.

Yes for the limit it’s designed that way. We are not designed to have every upkeep at once.
I’m running the 6, 7, and 8 skill on constant. Start of battle double tap 9, and drop the 8 skill then so I do great damage and have energy gain going to
