i cant imagine what the rune of revenant stats are going to be. the only thing that makes sense is rune of travelers being renamed as the rune of revenant since the revenant touches on every stat in the game some how. what do you guys think.

Nah, probably something to do with legendswap or fury.
Class runes usually have to do with the main boon/condi or the class mechanic.

i agree with you. hopefully with some with energy management we lack that alot. or could be something about gaining a boon on hit kinda set up.

I don’t expect a Traveler/Divinity style runeset, especially since eles (the most hybrid class by design) don’t have one either.

Also, Roy has specifically stated that energy management will not be added.

So yeah, I’d say a ferocity/fury runeset is quite likely.

Energy Management would most likely make the Rune mandatory on Revenant, so that’s highly doubtful as it’s something Roy wanted to avoid in the traits.

That being said, I expect it to be Fury-based.

but i bet its going to be boon duration increase and condition duration decrease.

So really what it comes down to is just get runes of the traveler for your revenant because its gonna be better then anything else they come out with. =)

What will be interesting is if we get 2 rune sets. There’s already a base rune set for each profession, and another rune set coming out for each Specialization.

True that could be cool, but I feel they need to implement a drop down/unlockable rune system before I play around with any combinations. I have my ascended with travelers runes already. I’m not gonna destroy the runes to try another or make another set, just not worth 50g.

Im noob when it comes to rev, do they lack switfness application? I know herald can apply some short duration swiftness + the 50% boon duration

Herald and Shiro are you main sources for swiftness. Both are upkeep skills.

Gonna have to go through this again, but not a single one of the runes directly deals with a class mechanic. Runes have to be usable by other classes.

They get extended or generalized but indeed they have to do with it.

It may work with legendswap AND weaponswap.
Or it could be something Fury related, as I suggested. Fury is usable by everyone, but it’s central to Revenant.
