Personally, I have two Revenants now, female Charr and female Sylvari. I’m still not sure which one I prefer – while in terms of animations (dat Mace #3…), lore and general feel I prefer Charr, I’d like to experience the story of HoT with Sylvari and after 3 years of playing a Charr, it’s nice to have some options in the Wardrobe which don’t clip.
If that Legendary Armor looks good on Charr, I’m going back. If not, Charr will be for PvP prob.

i have to agree on sylvari story. I admit I’ve started out as a stelthy cabbage on GW2 release and enjoyed much my toon. Anyway heavy armor is the less clip-prone weight for the charrs…so it won’t be that bad I guess :P

Well Charrs have always been fun. It’s just than now, with Revenant Rytlock, people are gonna say! “OMG! This guy is cool! I’m going to make a charr!”. People in general tend to be uncreative and unoriginal.
I myselft hesitating. I actually have so much fun with Chrono and well, revenant have no change to Jalis or Mallyx like i was expecting. So, or i’m making a charr (coz i already have 5 charrs and this race is my favorite for far) or i’m going to make my first norn. You know, shamans and havrouns, related to mists, becoming a legend and that kind of things. It really depend. If i’m going to main a character he MUST be a charr. If it’s an alt, i can make a norn.

It really depend if i stay on my dapper sir chronomancer charr or if i’m going to main revenant. Must play the two for decide. But i’m uncomfortable with Jalis and Mallyx being very situational and Glint, no brain spec, being near mandatory. I have always wanted versatility and able to play all five legend, changing of role only by switching legends. Now we actually can only play with three of them, two last being very situationnal.
Human male – master race.
Asura – Master of the master races.

It’s not bad, but it’s kitten limiting. Tbh, I’ve been able to create more possible armor combinations for my Charr Necro than for my Charr Revenant and I don’t really want to wear full T3 or full Mistward.

Revenant just screamed Norn to me. Well I first thought Jotun, but Norn was next best :p
There can only be one.
