I don’t really know what this thread’s about, but P/D users didn’t lose much damage at all from the DD and CnD nerf. You’re a condition build. It’s not like you deal a lot of damage through power uses, and the two abilities were used for their other effects, not the damage.

A fraction of a second less on the revealed effect does not make up for the huge decrease in damage of CnD and DD.

To be honest I loved to just spam 4 when some random mobs were going after me as it was really damaging (insta damage, to get rid of mobs faster than with bleeds). I will miss the damage from Dancing Dagger but I can survive without it (I would still like to see the ini cost reducted now that the damage is crappy).
And the thread is basically about how you can now use CnD after 2 shots instead of 3 shots (like it was before some ninja patch that made it 3). The difference is great on your gameplay and you can stay close to your opponent more safely than before. It really isn’t new, and is a revert of a nerf instead of a buff, but I guess at this point, anything that isn’t a nerf is welcomed with the Thief.

It wasn’t buffed.It was “returned to it/s previous state”.And considering that the both offhand skills were nerfed…Now if they changed Body Shot 5 stacks of vulnerabilty to 3 stacks of might would be buff.
…And yes i am condition thief.C&D lower damage doesn’t bother me.What bothers me is that it was a stupid nerf w/o reason and without addresing to the real BS “problem”.
They should nerf Mug,not C&D.With this attitude(nerfing innocent skills like PW instead of Haste for example),ANet are troubling me.Theese aren’t good changes.Why they hitted S/D.Isn’t it gameplay the typical tactical/sneaky positional gameplay with moderate damage-control ratio thief should be?I don’t know.
