So I was defending a tower today waiting for backup to arrive. I would jump down and attack a bit and run back in the tower. This one thief keep kept hitting me with something that would cause me to have 60 seconds of poison. Is this a bug or something. The guy did it multiple times I would run back into the tower look at the poison condition and it would say 56-58 seconds left of poison ticks.

maybe spider venum with 33% plus poison duration and or 80% plus condition duration

Easy when hitting all of spider venom or spider venom + steal with 70-80% condition duration. I run it alot because of warriors and usually with a condi thief running P/D when you steal and apply the poison then it gets covered by the other conditions so it is almost always the last condition sitting on someone.

Back when I ran P/D about a year ago I would always try to open up with:

Choking Gas + Steal (Serpent’s Touch) + Cloak and Dagger + Spider Venom + Sneak Attack (5x Projectile Finisher Poison).

I recall it stacking up to a little more than a minute.

Shortbow alone with the right setup can do over a minute with poison.

I use to troll zergs with it.

Shortbow 4 and you stayed inside the AoE for the full duration

The real question is: Did that 1 minute of poison that the Thief put on you matter at all? Because my guess is it didn’t.
