7 Crits in a Row?
What. You’re a thief, you should know this is the norm for power thieves.
I have Marauder Armor, Marauder Amulet, Zerk/Valk backpack, and zerk trinkets/rings. I have Runes of the Pack and use Agility Signet. That puts me at 74.5% crit before fury. If I am using Thrill of the Crime, or my Runes proc – I have a 94.5% crit chance due to Fury.
Though thanks for bringing this up, since I haven’t thought about stats like that in a while, I could probably swap some of my stats for less precision, as I don’t really need a 94.5% crit chance. I think 85% would be a nice place to sit.

It is definitely very possible. It is super easy to get your crit chance above 50% with armor and weapons alone. Then it is possibly that he was running signet of agility which provides a passive crit chance increase and it is also possible that he had fury which increases crit chance by 20%. So with roughly 80% chance to crit it is pretty easy to get 7 crits in a row.
If a d/p thief can get 10k-14k back stabs, I don’t doubt that a staff vault thief can do that
While we’re on the topic, could someone explain to me how a 15,528 critical Vault is possible ? ( See screen shot )

My Vault usually hits for 9-10K but I have got to 14-15K with some Might and vuln stacking once before.

Might stacks is one way, along with all the damage modifiers.
Food
30% from DA for foes <50%
27% from Daredevil after a bounding dodge
5-15% from Trickery Lead attacks.
They also could be using full valk gear and the crit strikes traitline + daredevil runes.

Also whatever your gear/traits/food buffs affect these numbers just looking at a number in a vacuum without any additional info only causes speculation since their are multiple ways that this can happen.
At Turk your math is off on your numbers, modifiers are multiplicative not additive. So DA gives 32% if opponent is under 50% and have a condition on them, DrD gives 29% when the conditions for Staff Mastery and Bound are met on top of Havoc Master.
So if all Conditions for damage modifiers are met for a build i.e. Enemy at <50% hp have a condition Thief not at full endurance and used Bound and vaults with 4 secs while having Lead Attacks stacks. The Thief has anywhere from
79% damage modifiers to 96.5 using the Valks and DrD Runes. If using Scholar 116% damage modifiers.

Rune of the Daredevil with valk stats. HE could have put himself in combat, dodge ,vault BOOM.

It’s not hard to do. DA/CS/DrD or Tr/CS/DrD specced offensive into damage modifiers can reach this without too many issues. Especially now with CS’s sustained might-stacking. Vault has the highest damage single-hit skill of anything on the thief and consequently has the potential to be the hardest-hitting single attack of anything in the game.
Screen is slightly dated as it’s going to be losing around 10-15% of its damage given the massive nerf to Assassin’s Signet. That said, you could hit for slightly more damage than this before, and this is only self-buffed (screen credit: Taobella).

It’s especially doable even without any precision at all if the thief was running HK which now provides 2s of flat-out 100% crit chance from being revealed after attacking from stealth. A number of players did similar things with Daredevil runes as well with spamming evades back when SoA was 100 endurance and CV not nerfed, either, as those as a 6-set bonus also give a 100% crit chance on a single attack after using a dodge in combat. Given only a few hits aren’t vaults, something like base 34% crit chance (mostly valk) with 20% from fury and another 7-14% from CS and possibly another 7% from a sigil of accuracy puts you at around 70% without speccing too deep into precision. If he has Signet of Agility on (likely), there’s another 8.5% on top of that while the signet passive is in effect.
I’ll make a mentioning that Berserker will hit harder than Valkyrie in terms of DPH due to the changes to food scaling from precision and not vitality.
